US President Donald Trump has again threatened Tehran during the last visit of Iran’s late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Trump bluntly said on Monday (local time), ‘Either they make a deal with us or we will finish their job.’ This warning of the US President has come at a time when the several-day long funeral of their slain supreme leader Ali Khamenei is taking place in Iran.
The US President stressed during a TV interview that he will win anyhow. He said, ‘We will either make an agreement or complete the work.’ He further said that it will be very easy to destroy Iran, there will be no difficulty in it. Trump further said that he would like to make a deal, because he does not want the 91 million people of Iran to be affected, but if he wants, he can destroy all the bridges and power grids of Iran in an hour.
What did Trump say?
Trump further said that America had taken action by entering Iran only because we do not want Iran to have nuclear weapons. He said that I do not want a change of power, but this is a change of power. He again reiterated that they had destroyed all Iranian Navy ships and Air Force aircraft.
‘Maybe a deal can be made with Iran’
He also said, ‘The powerful US Navy imposed the biggest blockade ever and for two months not a single ship could cross the blockade. Then we probably came close to an agreement, so we relaxed the blockade. I don’t know but maybe we can reach an agreement. Trump further said that despite the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, oil prices did not increase much.
