Iran Hormuz Open News: Iran has completely opened the Strait of Hormuz. US President Donald Trump has announced this by posting on Instagram. News agency AP has reported that immediately after this decision of Iran, the prices of crude oil fell by 10 percent.

For a long time, the world was afraid that due to the ongoing tension in the Middle East, the supply of oil would stop, but after this statement of Trump, that fear has reduced. The market now hopes that the conflict in West Asia will be resolved soon. Now oil prices may fall further in the coming days, which may bring great relief to the common man’s pocket.

What did Iran’s Foreign Minister tell?

“In view of the ceasefire in Lebanon, the route has been declared completely open for all commercial ships passing through Hormuz,” Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi wrote in a post on ‘X’.

Concerns reduced about supply disruptions

After the fall in oil prices, Kaveri More, Technical Research Department (Commodities) at Choice Broking, said, “Crude oil futures prices fell after Donald Trump expressed optimism about a possible deal with Iran, which reduced concerns about prolonged supply disruptions.”

Trump indicated that Iran could accept conditions such as giving up its nuclear ambitions, reopening the Strait of Hormuz and providing ‘free oil’. In the international market, crude oil futures prices have come down due to hopes of an early resolution of the conflict in West Asia.
