Meanwhile, a child was also taken out safely from under the debris. At the same time, information has come to light that 12 year old Samuel Brito is trapped under the debris. It has been told that he is unable to move his right hand. However, his rescue has not been officially confirmed yet.

A young Venezuelan citizen has also appealed for help through social media. He says that many of his family members are still trapped under the debris in Catia La Mar area and they need immediate assistance.

235 deaths so far due to earthquake
According to reports, two powerful earthquakes of 7.2 and 7.5 magnitudes occurred within 40 seconds on Wednesday evening, causing huge devastation in the central coastal areas of the country and the capital Caracas. Buildings collapsed, electricity and communication services were affected and continuous aftershocks increased people’s concern. According to the Health Ministry, by Thursday (June 25) evening the death toll had reached 235.
