In the Civil Lines area of Jaipur, where the Governor, CM, most of the ministers and bureaucrats live, some people from every house definitely fell ill after drinking the water supplied from people’s taps for three days. There are seven hundred to eight hundred houses in Sushilpura colony of Civil Lines area. More than 500 people living in this colony have fallen ill after drinking contaminated water. Some complained of vomiting and diarrhea while others had stomach ache and fever. Some have been ill for four days and some are now resting at home after being given glucose.

The people of Sushilpura colony are so scared that they are unable to muster the courage to drink the supplied water. However, the administration is also sending a tanker of clean water here. There is tremendous anger among the people regarding the supply of dirty water like this in VIP Colony. Angry people also gave local BJP MLA Gopal Sharma three days ago dirty water to drink. There was a lot of uproar over that. The Congress party is attacking the government on this issue.
Tikaram Julie cornered the government
Leader of Opposition in Rajasthan Assembly, Tikaram Julie, says that if this is the condition of the most VIP area of Rajasthan, then it can be understood what kind of basic facilities, including water, the government would be providing to the people in remote areas.
