NCERT Class 9 Books: Amid reports of shortage of new NCERT Class 9 books in many parts of the country, NCERT has taken a relief step for the students. The council has announced that all the new text books of class 9 have now been made available online, so that studies are not affected and students can start the syllabus on time. In fact, with the beginning of the new session, print copies of these books have not reached the market in sufficient quantity in many states. In such a situation, there is difficulty in starting studies in schools. In view of this situation, NCERT has released digital option.
Books made available on online portal
According to NCERT, students can download soft copies of class 9th books by visiting the official website. These include books on Sanskrit, English, Mathematics, Science, Hindi, Urdu and Physical Education subjects. The council says that the purpose of providing books in digital format is that students can continue their studies from anywhere and anytime and there is no delay in the syllabus.
Education is getting affected due to lack of market.
According to reports from many states, new books are not yet easily available in book stores. Its impact is directly visible on classroom teaching. Some teachers say that the syllabus has been updated, but due to lack of books it is becoming difficult to start studies systematically. At the same time, teachers of private schools also agreed that online books are helpful, but problems still remain due to lack of digital facilities for all the students.

Students are facing problems
Online books are not a complete solution for students living in rural and remote areas. Many students said that due to weak internet connectivity it is not easy to download the entire book. At some places, students are studying by sharing PDF through mobile, but this method is not considered sufficient for regular studies. Even in urban areas, many students have complained that books are not available in the market. It is available expensive on online platforms. However, the availability of online books has provided immediate relief to those students who have access to internet and devices. This has saved studies from coming to a complete halt. Still, schools and teachers believe that printed books are necessary in the long run, because not every student has digital resources available.

NCERT has also issued helpline number 8800440559 for the assistance of students and teachers. From where they can contact for problems related to books or studies.
