After the cancellation of the country’s biggest medical entrance examination NEET UG 2026, there is an atmosphere of disappointment, stress and confusion among lakhs of students and their families. Many students say that they worked hard for months, stayed away from social programs and festivals, but now the pressure of preparing for the exam again is troubling them mentally. But when the official information came out, they became very upset. The students said that the exam went well and now it is mentally very difficult to prepare at the same level again.

In such a situation, the decision to suddenly cancel the exam is a big shock for them. Rakesh, a student who was preparing for NEET exam, said that my father supports his expenses by doing some farming, now there is nothing left in life, it has been 4 years since I have been preparing for NEET, money has also been spent.. and while saying this, the student became emotional.
The examinee told that every year around Rs 2 to 2.5 lakh is spent during preparation, now the paper has been canceled now we cannot do anything, it is the fault of NTA people that they did not look into it properly.
Some students justified NTA’s decision
Another student said that the children have worked so hard for a year. Even after working so hard, children are getting 500 to 600 marks and some people are cheating and getting 700 marks out of 720, which is taking the country backward and such people will never be able to become good doctors. After this the student said that the decision of NTA to cancel the examination is absolutely right.
Shubham, a student preparing for NEET, told that I had given NEET exam along with 12th. My marks were around 500, but now that NEET has been cancelled, we will get another chance. Wrong has happened to the children due to paper leak, but if NEET is held again, we will score well.
“Why mess with the future?”
Expressing their displeasure, the students said that incidents of irregularities in the examination system have not happened for the first time. He says that every time only the students who work hard have to face mental stress and uncertainty. Many students raised the question that when such incidents had happened before, why was the examination system not made completely safe and transparent.
Some students said that they had become mentally relaxed after the examination, but now the pressure of starting the preparation again will affect them as well as the entire family. According to the students, their parents were also facing the stress of this examination along with them for a long time.
Students called the decision necessary
Many students and parents also supported the decision to cancel the examination. He says that if the allegations of paper leak or irregularities are found to be true then it is necessary to conduct the examination again to ensure a fair examination. Students said that hard working candidates will get justice only when the examination is conducted in a completely transparent environment.
The family members said that the children had worked hard day and night preparing for the exam and news like paper leak affected them mentally. In such a situation, the steps taken by the government and the National Testing Agency are considered important to maintain confidence in the examination system.

Demand to make the examination system more secure
Students and parents demanded that the examination system be made more strong and secure to prevent such incidents in future. He says that steps like technical monitoring, strict security protocols and timely action are necessary so that the students who work honestly remain confident and do not have to face mental stress again and again.
