Vaibhav Suryavanshi is continuously impressing with his batting in IPL 2026. Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Sanjeev Goenka had a conversation after the match was over at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. During this, Vaibhav touched Goenka’s feet while respecting him. He said that it is not easy to handle a big responsibility at such a young age, but Vaibhav is handling it brilliantly. He also advised the young batsman to keep working hard.
Gavaskar said a big thing jokingly
When Vaibhav and Goenka were talking after the match, Sunil Gavaskar jokingly said during the commentary, “I will buy you next year.” On hearing this statement of Gavaskar, the people present in the commentary box also started smiling. Although it was just a joke, it clearly showed that Vaibhav Suryavanshi has defeated big cricket legends with his performance.

Match changed after slow start
Vaibhav’s start against Lucknow Super Giants was not special. He scored only 11 runs in the first 12 balls. But after this he started scoring runs rapidly. He scored 26 runs in one over of Akash Singh, while he scored 29 runs in Mayank Yadav’s over.
