Pakistan is the first country to get this fifth generation fighter jet. Pakistan has secretly signed an agreement with China for 40 such stealth fighter jets. J-35A is such a stealth fighter jet, which is very difficult to detect with normal radar. China has made it specifically to sell to those countries which cannot buy Western fighter planes.
Pakistan will get 40 J-35A fighter jets
Pakistan is at the top among these buyers, which is not capable of purchasing America’s F-35 jet. Pakistan is going to buy 40 J-35A fighter jets from China and an agreement has also been signed between the two countries for this. If this happens, the balance of air power in South Asia may change. Pakistan is especially seeing J-35A as a counter to India’s Rafale jet.
When will the delivery take place?
Under the deal that Pakistan has made with China, it will get 40 J-35A fighter aircraft. Apart from this, China will also provide training to Pakistani pilots. Delivery of J-35A fighter planes to Pakistan may start by the end of 2026. Experts believe that China has specially designed the J-35A stealth fighter jet to challenge the dominance of the American Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II. China has introduced a low-cost option by making J-35, which challenges the expensive technology of western countries. With this, China’s dominance in the arms market will also increase.
There will be competition with Rafale
There is a fear that Pakistan may use J-35A stealth fighter jet against India’s Rafale fighter jet. J-35A is a fifth generation stealth aircraft, which specializes in attacking by avoiding enemy radar, while Rafale is a 4.5 generation omnirole aircraft which specializes in its tremendous firepower, radar jamming and dogfight.

The Rafale fighter jet can carry a payload of more than 9,500 kg on 14 hard points, while the J-35A mainly uses the internal bay to protect its weapons from radar. Rafale is equipped with long range missiles like Meteor, which are the best in themselves. The J-35A jet can use PL-15 and PL-10 missiles. Let us tell you that India currently does not have any such fifth class fighter jet.
