After the incident of violence and firing during Bihar Bandh in Siwan, Bihar, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has made a scathing attack on the Central Government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Rahul Gandhi alleged that the entire system has become deadly against students. He said that there have been reports of AK 47 firing on protesting students in Bihar and hundreds of students have been arrested and FIRs are being registered against them. Rahul Gandhi asked the Prime Minister a question as to where the promise of not filing FIR against the students and releasing them went. He said that the government is going back on its words and trying to suppress the voice of the students.

‘The entire system against students is deadly’

In his statement released on social media, Rahul Gandhi said that the entire system against students has become deadly. He wrote that reports are coming that AK 47 bullets have been fired on the protesting students in Bihar and hundreds of students are being arrested and FIRs are being registered against them.

Asked Modi government where did the promise go?

Rahul Gandhi questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said where did the promise of not filing any FIR against the students and releasing them go? He alleged that on the contrary, deadly attacks are being made on the students and they are being brutalized.

Allegation of same pattern from Delhi to Bihar

Rahul Gandhi said that pellet guns were fired on students in Delhi and AK 47 firing is coming to light in Bihar. He said that the same pattern is visible everywhere including Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar and Delhi. Taking aim at the government, Rahul Gandhi said that earlier also he had said that this government makes false promises. According to him, the government is not capable of making reforms and is trying to suppress the voice of the students in every way. He demanded the Prime Minister to apologize to the students of the country and take action against those who attacked the students.

Violence broke out in Siwan during Bihar Bandh

This statement of Rahul Gandhi has come to light after the violence during Bihar Bandh in Siwan, Bihar. The movement took a violent turn during the Bihar Bandh on Saturday. There was a clash between the police and the protesters, in which firing also took place. After this incident tension spread in the area. It was told that three protesters were injured in the firing, while around 25 policemen including Siwan SP Puran Kumar Jha, two DSPs were also injured in the stone pelting and clash. Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav also condemned the Siwan incident and claimed that the police opened fire on the students with AK 47. However, the police have not confirmed this allegation.

Three protesters injured by bullets

Those injured in the firing have been identified as Arif, resident of Sheikh Mohalla of Siwan, Bullet Kumar Gond of Darauli police station area and Akash Kumar, resident of Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh. All three injured have been referred to Patna for better treatment.

Police said – the truth will become clear only after investigation

Siwan SP Puran Kumar Jha said that it is not yet clear who shot the students. He said that the entire matter is being investigated and all the facts will be investigated. According to SP, 65 miscreants have been detained so far after the uproar during Bihar Bandh.
