Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Brajesh Pathak, who reached the tree plantation program organized in the district hospital premises in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh on Sunday (July 12) morning, fiercely targeted the opposition regarding the Cow Protection Jan Jagran Yatra of Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati being organized by the Samajwadi Party. While talking to the media, he said that some people are trying to mislead the public with the help of religious sentiments by wearing saffron robes, but the people of the state have now understood everything.

Deputy CM said that those who are claiming to be concerned about Sanatan Dharma today, they should first tell what was their attitude when the temple of Lord Shri Ram was being constructed. He alleged that people who earlier opposed the Ram temple are now doing vote politics under the guise of religious faith.
Brajesh Pathak also mentioned the land allotted for the construction of the mosque in Dhannipur and the donations collected at that time. He said that till date no one has answered what happened to that donation. Also, while mentioning the funding of Madrasas and the issues that come up from time to time, he said that the opposition never raises questions on these issues. According to him, this is only appeasement politics.

It is noteworthy that Jyotishpeethadhishwar and Shankaracharya of Dwarka-Sharda Peeth Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati reached Barabanki on Sunday as part of his 81-day cow protection public awareness yatra. Earlier, Samajwadi Party had given information about the program in a press conference and party president Akhilesh Yadav had also supported the yatra. The Deputy Chief Minister responded to the question asked regarding this.
