A day earlier i.e. on Monday, after the Bengal election results came, PM Modi in West Bengal Assembly elections Bharatiya Janata Party Addressing the party workers after the victory, he said that “from today Bengal is free from fear” and now is the time for change in the state, not revenge. He appealed to all political parties to leave the politics of violence and focus on the future and development of the state.

Modi said that in the last several decades, West Bengal elections have been known for violence, fear and loss of lives and property, but this time there was peaceful voting and it is a sign of a positive change. In his nearly 50-minute speech, the Prime Minister also said that Bengal is now entering a new phase, where “there should be talk of the future, not fear.”

He stressed that after victory in a democracy, there should be no feeling of revenge but development and good governance should be given priority. Apart from this, Modi Indian National Congress, Trinamool Congress And targeting other parties, he said that they have received “severe punishment” for opposing the Nari Shakti Vandan (Amendment) Bill. He also indicated that Samajwadi Party may also have to face the anger of women in future.
