PIB Fact Check: In this era of social media, as fast as information spreads, it does not take long for misleading and false information to reach people at the same speed. In this sequence, these days a video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also going viral, in which he is seen promoting an investment platform.
PIB Fact Check made shocking revelations
In the viral video, it is being claimed about an investment platform named ‘Quantum AI’ that with an initial investment of only Rs 21000-22000, one can earn a huge income of up to Rs 3.5 lakh every month. When PIB Fact Check, the official fact check wing of the Government of India, investigated this viral video, it found that it is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) generated deepfake video. The Fact Check Unit of PIB has completely refuted the claim, calling it an online investment scam.
What did PIB say?
PIB Fact Check has said in its statement released on social media platform X that this video is fake and it has been made with AI. The Government of India has not approved any such investment platform or scheme. Never click on suspicious links or share your personal or financial information. Always verify information from official sources before investing.
