Sri Lankan cricketer Bhanuka Rajapaksa has sent a legal notice to actress Harshi Rasanga, after which the actress was also arrested by the police. This matter is related to gold chain. The notice states that Rajapaksa had given him a gold chain temporarily. The actress mortgaged this chain worth Rs 9 lakh without informing her. However, the actress told something else through social media.
Thalanggama police of Sri Lanka also arrested actress Harshi. During the hearing in Kaduwela Magistrate Court, Harshi Rasanga admitted that he mortgaged the chain to cricketer Bhanuka Rajapaksa without informing him. Through lawyers, Hershey promised that she would return the chain. Although the actress took a U-turn after getting the bail, she told something else.
The court granted bail to actress Harshi Rasanga on two sureties of Rs 5 lakh each. However, after meeting Ben, the actress said on social media that when she was in a relationship with Bhanuka Rajapaksa, he had gifted her that chain. Till the time of writing this news, no statement has yet come from the cricketer’s side on this claim. The Kuduwela Magistrate Court has ordered the Thalangagama Police to produce the gold chain during the next hearing in the case. According to the report, the next hearing of the case is to be held on April 22.

Bhanuka Rajapaksa has played 5 ODIs and 45 T20 International matches for the Sri Lankan cricket team, in which he has scored 89 and 744 runs respectively. He played his last ODI match in 2021. He played his last T20 match in November last year. He played 2 seasons for Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League. In the 2022 edition, he played 9 matches, in which he scored 206 runs. In 2023, he played only 4 matches, in which he scored only 71 runs.
