Priyansh Arya is the first batsman to achieve the feat of hitting a six on the first ball of an IPL match on two different occasions. Also, he has made a place among the batsmen who have hit sixes on the first ball most number of times in any innings of IPL.

Earlier in the history of IPL, this had happened only five times when a batsman had hit a six on the first ball of the match. Virat Kohli, Priyansh Arya, Naman Ojha, Phil Salt and Yashasvi Jaiswal had done this once each. But Priyansh is the first batsman in the world to do this twice. He has done this for the first time in 2025 against Chennai Super Kings and now against Delhi Capitals.
