Talking about Gautam Gambhir, he played 91 innings while opening and scored 3367 runs. As an opener, Gambhir scored runs at an average of 39.61, played 8 centuries and 21 half-centuries. Gautam Gambhir had said goodbye to the game of cricket in December 2018.

Rohit close to creating history

In the history of ODI cricket, there are only 4 batsmen who have scored 10 thousand or more runs while opening.
