Team India’s assistant coach Ryan ten Deutsche has resigned from his post. According to ESPN Cricinfo, Ryan can return to the Indian Premier League and join KKR in the next season. He was appointed assistant coach of Team India in July 2024 and his tenure is completed in July 2026.

Talking about Indian cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir, he took charge in July 2024. His tenure is going to last for about 3 and a half years. He will remain on the post of head coach till December 2027. The last major tournament of Team India under his coaching will be the 2027 ODI Cricket World Cup.
On the other hand, if we talk about Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar, he was given this post in 2023. His tenure was going to end in the year 2026, but keeping in mind the plan of 2027 ODI World Cup, his tenure was extended till 2027 World Cup. It will be interesting to see whether BCCI extends the tenure of Gambhir and Agarkar in view of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
When will the 2027 World Cup take place?
The 2027 ODI Cup will be organized in October-November next year. This tournament of 14 teams will start from October 4 and continue till November 21. This time a total of 14 teams will participate in this World Cup and the tournament has been divided into 3 phases.
