Actor Siddharth is in the news for the web series ‘Operation Safed Sagar’. The series will be released on OTT platform Netflix. The series will be released on 7th August. Apart from Siddharth, the series stars Jimmy Shergill, Abhay Verma, Dia Mirza, Prajakta Koli, Adil Hussain. The trailer of the series was launched on Monday. Siddharth could not control his tears at the trailer launch.

Siddharth became emotional at the trailer launch

During this, Siddharth was seen wearing an arm support in his hand. Information regarding what has happened to Siddharth’s hand has not been revealed yet. Siddharth was also seen emotional in the trailer launch event. He became emotional about his onscreen role. During this time his team silenced him. Siddharth is playing the role of Squadron Leader Ajay Ahuja in the series. This series is based on the courageous operations of the Indian Air Force during the Kargil War of 1999.

The real ‘Operation Safed Sagar’ was conducted from a height of 18,000 feet above sea level. To make the show look real, most of the shooting took place at an altitude of 16,500 feet. Many actors themselves spent several weeks at an altitude of 13,000 feet and adapted themselves to the environment there.

Siddharth said while talking to Hindustan Times, ‘I had gone up to a height of 13,000 feet. To be honest, our crew has worked at a much higher altitude than us.

Apart from this, Siddharth said, ‘My last project was Netflix’s ‘The Taste’. In this I played the role of an Indian Test cricketer. I shot in Chepauk. To look and act like a fighter pilot, one had to prepare 10 times more. I have played cricket all my life but I have never sat in the cockpit of a plane. I got a lot of help for this.
