Why was this feature discontinued?
In 2019, Meta had announced to bring End‑to‑End Encryption on Facebook and Instagram. After this, it was rolled out for Facebook Messenger in 2023. The company says that very few people were using this feature, due to which it is being discontinued.
So will chatting no longer be safe?
