A special meeting of the Brahmin community was called on Wednesday (June 17) at the Samajwadi Party office in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. However, in this meeting, preparations for Janeshwar Mishra Jayanti on coming 5th August were discussed. According to the information, preparations will be made on this day as a show of strength of Brahmins. Samajwadi Party has prepared to break into the fort of BJP by organizing the biggest program of Brahmin class till date.
In fact, with the sound of 2027 assembly elections, a new chessboard of caste and social equations has started being laid in the politics of UP. Samajwadi Party is now moving ahead from its traditional Muslim-Yadav (M-Y) equation and is working rapidly on the strategy of wooing the Brahmin community.
Brahmin community leaders gathered at SP headquarters
In this sequence, today on 17th June i.e. Wednesday, a big meeting of prominent leaders of Brahmin community, MLAs, former MLAs, MPs and former MPs was organized at the SP headquarters in Lucknow. SP President Akhilesh Yadav himself was monitoring this campaign. The responsibility of the meeting was handed over to Ballia MP Sanatan Pandey. In the meeting, many leaders including Leader of Opposition Mata Prasad Pandey, MLA Amitabh Bajpai, Vinay Tiwari, Baijnath Dubey, Santosh Pandey, Pooja Shukla and former MLA Ashutosh Upadhyay were given different responsibilities.

Huge Brahmin conference will be held on 5th August
The outline of the proposed huge Brahmin conference in Lucknow will be decided on the birth anniversary of socialist thinker and former Union Minister Janeshwar Mishra on 5th August. The party is seeing this not just as a tribute program but as a platform to give a political message to the Brahmin community. For this, a campaign will be launched to unite Brahmins by forming a team and a large number of Brahmins will gather in Lucknow.
Preparation for assembly elections
SP leaders believe that this is the biggest effort to increase organizational and ideological dialogue among the Brahmin community before the 2027 elections. It was decided in the meeting that now a meeting will be held at the district and divisional level to celebrate the birth anniversary of Janeshwar Mishra on a large scale. Different leaders will be assigned duty in different districts. The party office responsibilities of the leaders will be decided soon.
In the meeting, the encounters taking place in Yogi Sarkar state were also discussed and a list of caste wise encounters has been sought from all the district units. Issues like Shankaracharya controversy, fighting with Batunks, theft of Ram temple offerings, encounter of Brahmins, casteism among Indians were also discussed. Brahmin leaders associated with SP will take these issues among the Brahmins and explain that if the SP government comes, it will take special care of the Brahmins.
