It is too early to say anything about it right now as many talks are going on.” Deepak further confirmed, “Yes, the sequel is in the works and we are co-producing the film.” However, he did not give any information about the production schedule and casting, but confirmed that Anil Kapoor will star in the sequel. Deepak clarified, “Of course, he will!”

When will the shooting of ‘Nayak 2’ start?
According to the report of Bombay Times, Deepak Mukut said, “I will not be able to say much, but I can definitely say that we are doing it together. Rumors do not matter to us, but we are doing it together. The work is going on. We will announce it soon.”

Deepak admitted that Nayak is ‘a legacy project’ and added, “It’s been almost 25 years. Every film has its own destiny. When the time comes, it happens. And we felt now is the right time to do it. We had a mutual understanding and we are doing it together; I can’t say anything more than that.” Deepak told that the shooting of the film will start only when the script is finalized.
