Iran Crude Oil News: After the Iran war, amid tension on Hormuz, strict sanctions and blockade, Indian ships have become a threat. According to reports, a large consignment of crude oil from Iran has reached the Indian coast. It is being told that in the last one week, India has purchased about 60 lakh barrels of oil from Iran. Its third consignment has reached the ports today.

While oil prices are skyrocketing across the world due to yet another war, India is using diplomatic channels to meet its energy needs. According to the latest information, Iranian supertanker ‘Dorna’ has reached the southern coast of India carrying 2 million barrels of crude oil. This is the third big consignment to reach India within the last seven days. Earlier, tankers named ‘Felicity’ and ‘Jaya’ have also delivered oil to Indian ports. Overall, India has so far received 60 lakh barrels of Iranian crude oil.

Oil is about to be delivered to the local refinery

According to reports, ‘Dorna’ was last seen in Iranian waters when the blockade was about to be imposed there. This tanker has again appeared near the Indian coast on the Automatic Identification System and is soon going to offload oil to the local refinery.

Let us tell you that this consignment has come at a time when Iran closed Hormuz a day after completely opening it for commercial ships. However, this consignment had passed before the closure of Hormuz. Now Iran has announced to keep strict control on the ships passing through there. Just today the news came that Iran opened fire on an Indian ship crossing Hormuz.

India bought oil from Iran after seven years

The big thing about the Iran India deal is that India is using Chinese Yuan instead of dollars to pay for this oil, so that the impact of sanctions can be avoided. India has resumed importing oil from Iran after a long gap of about seven years. Taking advantage of the temporary relaxation in American sanctions, India took this strategic step.

US President Donald Trump has given an ultimatum to Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz, on which Iran’s reaction has come to the fore. The Iranian Supreme Leader’s representative in India, Abdul Majid Hakim Elahi, said on Monday that Trump’s starting a war in Iran was a big mistake, which has had wide-ranging consequences.

Responding to Trump’s warning against Iran, Elahi said such statements are not unprecedented and reflect a pattern that has been going on for decades. He told news agency ANI, ‘This is not a new thing. They could not harm us for 47 years. They can’t harm anything now.

#WATCH | Patna, Bihar | On US President Donald Trump issuing a threat against Iran, Dr Abdul Majid Hakeem Ilahi, representative of Iran’s Supreme Leader in India, says, “It is not anything new… They couldn’t do anything to us for 47 years. They can’t do anything else.”

On… https://t.co/s7JoN3mK1Y pic.twitter.com/RT4rq1nY2B

  — ANI (@ANI) April 5, 2026

Ilahi rejected Trump’s claim

Elahi also rejected Trump’s claim that the US had won the war and cited the continued duration of the conflict. According to ANI, the representative of Iran’s supreme leader in India said, ‘We can respond to this in war and on the streets. They wanted to do something within three days, but now more than a month has passed.

Iran praised India’s foreign policy

Despite criticizing America, Ilahi stressed on reducing tensions and focusing on diplomacy. He said, ‘We have to talk about peace. We have to bring peace in the world. Indian diplomacy is very good and they can play a more important role in this issue. This was a huge mistake from the beginning. This was not just a war against Iran, but a war against all human beings; This was against the whole world. You will see that the result of this war is that many people are suffering in different countries at this time.

What did Ilahi say on Trump’s language?

Ilahi also said that the language of leaders reflects their personal values and outlook. He said, ‘The language every person uses is an expression of his personality, humanity and morality. Therefore, if a person uses abusive language, it means that this is his personality. Even many US senators have denied using such language.

Iran made this appeal to big countries of the world

The IRIN representative said, ‘All countries can play a big role in stopping this war because now this war is affecting many people. Oil prices have increased and even freight costs have increased. So I think it is very necessary and important to set a specific time for the media and world leaders to come together and request President Trump to stop this war.

After the war in the Middle East started, America claimed that it had given India a 30-day exemption to buy Russian oil. US Finance Minister Scott Besant said that this step has been taken to remove obstacles in global oil supply. On this statement from the Trump administration, Russian Ambassador Denis Alipov bluntly said that India does not need permission from anyone.

The Russian Ambassador also said in an interview to RT News that I think the Indian authorities have already responded. Praising the statement of Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, he said that no matter how much America tries, it will not be able to remove Russian oil from the world.

India does not need any permission from anyone: Russia

He said, ‘India does not need any permission from anyone, but such attitude of America shows its thinking and its attitude towards its partners. I don’t think America wants or sees anyone as a partner. Junior partners fulfill maximum needs and everyone has to understand this. With all the good intentions, investments, and good deeds of America also come political circumstances and pressures. You cannot exclude Russian oil from the global basket.

Attack on Iran violates international rules: Russia
Denis Alipov further said that if this happens then there will be a huge reduction in supply and offer and hence the developments taking place in the Middle East show that whether India buys Russian oil or anyone else, that oil will remain there, Russian oil will remain there anyway. Therefore, buying India from us will only benefit.

On the US-Israeli attack on Iran, the Russian Ambassador said, ‘Whatever happened against Iran in the Middle East shows a blatant violation of international rules and laws. This was a violent and baseless attack against a free country, before the real president of a free country was kidnapped in Venezuela at midnight.

America had imposed penalty on Russian oil purchase

US President Donald Trump had imposed 25 percent tariff as a penalty on India for purchasing oil from Russia. However, after the Middle East crisis, US Finance Minister Scott Besant said that the US has announced a temporary exemption of 30 days to Indian refineries to buy oil from Russia. He said that this step has been taken to remove the obstacles in global oil supply due to threats to close the Strait of Hormuz. According to the US Treasury, this is a ‘short-term stopgap’ measure to maintain oil supply in the global market and keep prices stable.

To increase the firepower of Indian Navy’s submarines, the Defense Ministry has signed an agreement to purchase 48 torpedoes from an Italian company. The total value of this deal is Rs 1896 crore. The special thing is that this company was once a part of the Italian company linked to the VVIP helicopter (Agusta Westland) scam.

According to the Defense Ministry, a deal was signed with WASS Submarine Systems SRL of Italy at a cost of approximately Rs 1896 crore for the procurement and integration of 48 heavy weight torpedoes and related equipment for the Kalvari-class submarines (P-75) of the Indian Navy. This agreement was signed in the presence of Defense Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh in the capital Delhi on Tuesday.

When will the torpedoes be delivered?

The delivery of these torpedoes will begin from April 2028 and will be completed by the early 2030s. This acquisition will increase the combat capability of six Kalvari class submarines.

It is noteworthy that on Sunday, President Draupadi Murmu visited Kalvari class submarine, INS Waghshir and reviewed the war fleet of the Indian Navy.

Torpedo manufacturing company was once a part of Finmanica

WASS Company was once part of Finmanica (now Leonardo), the company that built AgustaWestland. During the UPA government (2004-2014), Finmanica and its associated companies were blacklisted by the Defense Ministry due to the VVIP helicopter purchase scam. However, in the year 2021, the company was removed from the blacklist. WASS company is now a part of Italy’s Finsantieri Group and is among the few companies in the world that can make torpedoes.

The Defense Ministry issued a statement after the agreement saying that these torpedoes have important operational capabilities and advanced technical features. This acquisition underlines the Government’s commitment to meet the operational requirements of the Indian Navy by inducting weapons with specialized technologies and advanced capabilities.

Defense Ministry signed a deal worth Rs 4666 crore

The special thing is that on Tuesday, the Defense Ministry signed a total of 4666 crore agreements including 48 torpedoes (worth 1896 crores). These also include 4.25 lakh Close Battle Carbines (CQB) for the Army and Navy, the total cost of which is Rs 2770 crore. This agreement has been signed with Bharat Forge of Pune and PLR Systems of Adani Group. In the financial year 2025-26, the Defense Ministry has signed capital contracts worth Rs 1,82,492 crore for the modernization of the armed forces.

A report has come from America’s Defense Department Pentagon regarding China. It has been claimed that China is trying to put obstacles in the way of expanding the strategic partnership between Washington and New Delhi. In this report released on Tuesday (December 23, 2025), emphasis has also been laid on China’s military cooperation with Pakistan and the rapid increase in nuclear weapons.

How is China wooing India?

The Pentagon report also reiterated China’s territorial claims on Arunachal Pradesh, describing the Indian state as part of Beijing’s declared ‘core interests’. According to the report, China’s inclination towards India is driven by broader strategic concerns, especially Washington’s growing engagement with New Delhi. It says that Beijing is trying to prevent deeper relations between India and America by taking advantage of the reduced tension on LAC.

For the past several years, America has been looking at India as a balance to China’s growing influence in the Indo-Pacific region. The Pentagon document shows that Beijing hopes that diplomatic relations with India may prevent the alliance from strengthening.

Relations deteriorated after Galwan clash

In the year 2020, relations between India and China deteriorated rapidly after the violent clash in Galwan Valley of Ladakh, in which 20 Indian soldiers were martyred. Beijing had claimed martyrdom of four of its soldiers. After this deadlock, both sides held several rounds of talks at military, diplomatic and political levels. Despite this, areas like Demchok and Depsang remained unresolved.

The report said that in October last year, India and China had announced patrolling arrangements on the LAC, which resulted in the withdrawal of troops in eastern Ladakh. The development paved the way for a meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia. This was the first formal conversation between PM Modi and Xi Jinping after the clashes of 2020. The same meeting included peace on the LAC between the two countries, resumption of direct flights and visa services.

However, it has also been made clear in the report that India is completely alert about Beijing’s intentions. He is skeptical about China’s actions and intentions. It further says that due to mutual distrust and many problems between the two countries, their relations are limited.

What is there in the report regarding Arunachal Pradesh?

The report also draws attention to China’s broader territorial claims, especially its stance on Arunachal Pradesh. According to the US Defense Department, Beijing has further expanded the scope of its ‘core interests’ to include sovereignty claims over Taiwan, Arunachal Pradesh, almost the entire South China Sea and the Senkaku Islands amid territorial disputes.

China calls Arunachal Pradesh ‘Zangnan, the southern part of Tibet’, a claim India strongly rejects and believes the state is an integral part of the country.

The document states that China considers three ‘core interests’ essential for national revitalization and there can be no compromise on them. 1- Maintaining control of the Chinese Communist Party, 2- Advancing economic development and 3- Protecting and expanding territorial claims.

China’s stance regarding Taiwan in the report

The Pentagon report also assesses China’s attitude towards Taiwan, saying that Beijing considers force, if necessary, necessary for unification for national revitalization. However, it also says that Chinese leaders are ‘uncertain about the readiness of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) to successfully occupy Taiwan in the face of US intervention.’

China is making Pakistan a strategic weapon against India

China has a compulsion to maintain good relations with India. If he spoils relations with India, he will have to suffer the consequences. This is the reason why it is using Pakistan as a strategic weapon against India. The report says that this is why China is providing Pakistan with advanced military equipment, including frigates, fighter aircraft and armed drones.

By May 2025, China had delivered 20 of the 36 J-10C multirole fighter jets to Pakistan. Strike-capable Kaihong and Wing Loong unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were also given.

US defense assessments suggest that China and Pakistan are working together to put pressure on India through ‘grey zone operations’, using pressure tactics to avoid open conflict. American intelligence sources have described Islamabad as China’s ‘pressure valve’ against India.

Nuclear weapons increased rapidly in China

The Pentagon report also focuses on China’s rapidly increasing nuclear weapons. The Pentagon estimates that Beijing is adding about 100 nuclear weapons every year and by the end of 2024 its stockpile will exceed 600.

It is estimated that by 2030, China will have about 1,000 nuclear weapons, which can be deployed in missiles, submarines and bombers. The report concludes that China’s historic military buildup has increased America’s tension and reshaped the regional security balance.

India is now going to take a big decision regarding the safety of its satellites in space. The Indian Space Research Center (ISRO) plans to deploy ‘bodyguards satellites’ to protect Indian satellites in space. Just as the Indian Air Defense System S-400 protected from the missiles fired by Pakistan during Operation Sindoor, similarly these satellites will destroy Indian satellites every nefarious plan of enemy countries.

Bloomberg quoted sources as saying that the idea on it started when in 2024, the neighboring satellite came to a close to a satellite of ISRO. The distance between the two satellites was just one kilometer. In space, this satellite was in orbit of 500 to 600 km and was doing work related to military activities such as mapping and ground monitoring. However, somehow collision was averted.
How much budget did India keep?

This initiative of India regarding space is part of the government’s comprehensive security scheme. According to sources, under this, a fleet of 50 monitoring satellites will be prepared at a cost of about 2.7 lakh crore rupees. India’s preparation can be gauged from the fact that the first of these satellites can be launched only by next year. Apart from this, the Government of India is also planning to work on new technologies with other startups.

China and Pakistan will fail

Experts believe that as satellites are becoming important on both military and citizens, this step of India will take not only national security but also strategic strength to new heights. In the last 70 years, there have been four wars between India and Pakistan. In the battlefield, Pakistan has had to face again and again, in such a situation, Pakistan can harm Indian satellites in space with its friend China.

China helped Pakistan

According to data from the website N2y0.com, who monitors spacecraft, Pakistan has only eight satellites, while India have more than 100 satellites. At the same time, the number of China’s satellites is more than 900. A research group had said in May that China had helped Pakistan during Operation Sindoor.

India is among the world’s largest arms purchasing countries. The Indian Air Force is retiring its Mig-21 fleet. In such a situation, there is a discussion that India will include other fighter jets in their fleet. Therefore, from America, Russia to France, India is offering offers to buy their fighter jets. Meanwhile, the Defense Secretary of India has given a big statement.

Defense Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh said on Friday (September 12, 2025) that India needs to showcase its ‘soft power’ as well as its ‘hard power’ amidst growing competitive populism and economic protectionism worldwide. The Defense Secretary was addressing the Southern Command Defense Tech 2025 Seminar (Strid 2025) in Pune.

Rising wave of nationalism in the world: Rajesh Kumar Singh

Rajesh Kumar Singh said that geopolitical factors associated with the ongoing struggles in West Asia and Europe and the rise of populist leadership around the world have stopped the trend of increasing globalization and free trade. He said, ‘These trends are promoting competitive populistism and economic protectionism around the world, along with economic fragmentation, collapse of multilateral institutions and the rising wave of nationalism is also being seen.’

What did the defense secretary say about the deal?

The Defense Secretary said, “As a result, at a time when strategic bargains you need to be able to demonstrate rigorous power too, the need to show rigorous power in support of soft power is becoming even more important.”

He also said that there is a need to bring together research institutes, private and public sectors like the education world, Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) to meet the needs of the country’s armed forces.

India, France and Russia are offering

Let us know that America has the most modern and most dangerous fifth generation fighter jet F-35, but it is quite expensive. Russia’s SU-57 is also a fifth generation stealth fighter jet, it is considered to be a collision of F-35, but it is much cheaper than it. Apart from this, France also wants to sell its Rafael to India. India already have two Squadron of Rafael.

After India’s retaliation after the Pahalgam terror attack, there has been a huge tension between India and Pakistan. Meanwhile, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and Pakistan PM Shahbaz Sharif will appear on the same day on the United Nations stage. This will be the first time after Operation Sindoor, when PM Narendra Modi and Shahbaz Sharif will be on one platform.

According to the report of Pakistan’s newspaper Dawn, the Prime Minister of both countries will be present in the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) next month. According to the temporary program given by the United Nations, leaders of India and Pakistan will give speeches on the same day. Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi will speak first and Pakistani PM Shahbaz Sharif will speak later. However, Pakistan can also get strategic benefits to Pakistan as Shahbaz Sharif will also get a chance to respond to the issues raised by PM Modi.

When will UNGA meet?

According to Pak media, Shahbaz Sharif will go to attend UNGA meeting with a high level delegation. He will also be accompanied by Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, PM’s Foreign Affairs advisor Tariq Fatimi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi can represent India in this session on behalf of India. If this happens, the Prime Minister of both countries will speak on the same day.

The official start of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly will begin on 9 September. In this, high-level general debate will run from 23 to 29 September. The theme of UNGA this year is ‘Better together: 80 years for peace, development and human rights’. According to the program, Brazil will first speak in UNGA. US President Trump will then address the United Nations General Assembly for the first time in his second term.

PM Modi in the morning, Shahbaz Sharif will speak in the evening

According to the UN program, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi will speak in the morning in this session, while the Prime Minister of Pakistan will give a speech in the evening this day. During this time, Pakistan can once again raise the issue of Kashmir from the international stage. At the same time, India can target Pakistan on terrorism.

When was the operation vermilion?

After the Pahalgam terror attack, India carried out Operation Sindoor. Indian forces entered Pakistan and destroyed terrorist bases. In this operation, more than 100 terrorists of terrorist organizations like Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba were killed. Pakistan’s action was shocked by such action of India and then started retaliation. In which India brought Pakistan to his knees. Later, Pakistan contacted the Indian DGMO for ceasefire and then peace was established between the two countries.

Operation Sindoor: During Operation Sindoor, the Indian Air Force used both BrahMos and Scalp missiles to destroy the headquarters of Pakistan terrorist organization Jaish -e -Mohammed and Lashkar -e -Taiba. This is so that Pakistan’s Terror Infrastructure can be maximum damaged.

The Indian Air Force also used the BrahMos missile to ruin Part-2 (morning of May 10) of Operation Sindoor (on the morning of 10 May) i.e. Pakistani Military Infrastructure, which were fired with Sukhoi fighter jets. BrahMos of Sukhoi attacked the Pakistani Air Force Noor Khan, Rahim Yar Khan Base, Bholari Airbase, Jokokabad Base and Kirana Hills (close to which Pakistan’s nuclear stock is hidden) with the BrahMos missile. The scalp missile was used through France’s Rafael (Rafale) fighter jet.

India gives a befitting reply to Bunyan-al-Marsus

India launched Operation Sindoor Part-2, the Pakistani Air Force in protest against the Bunyan-al-Marsus operation as the Pakistani Air Force tried to target India’s airbase and important institutions to respond to the attacks on terrorist bases. For this, the Pakistani Air Force attacked with drones and missiles. These attacks included Adampur Airbase and Haryana’s Sirsa base in Punjab, but in time used the Indian Air Force S-400 missile and MRSAM (Medium Range Surface to Air Missile).

According to the information, during the retaliation of Bunayan Al-Merusus, the Indian Air Force also destroyed a Pakistan reconnaissance aircraft AWACS (AWACS) i.e. Air-Barn Early Warning and Control System. It is believed that the Indian Air Force used the S-400 missile for this. This reconnaissance aircraft named Ary was taken by Pakistan from Sweden and was spying of Indian aircraft during the attack on India. This reconnaissance aircraft was killed by S-400 near Noor Khan Airbase.

5 fighter jets of PAK destroyed in Operation Sindoor-2

A few days ago, ABP News had said that during Operation vermilion part, the Indian Air Force had destroyed at least five aircraft of Pakistan. Among them was a reconnant aircraft of Pakistan and a C-130J Super Hercules Military Transport Aircraft. The C-130 aircraft was gutted in the BrahMos missile attack on Bholari Airbase. The loss of AWACS aircraft was confirmed by a former Air Marshal of the Pakistani Air Force.

During Operation Sindoor on the night of 6-7 May, the Indian Air Force dropped two (02) fighters of Pakistan during the dog-fight in the sky. Both these fighter aircraft were JF-17 or a JF-17 and a Mirage. Because these fighter jets fell in the border of Pakistan, so their debris is not found in India. This is the reason why the Indian Air Force is not very confident about the identity of both these fighter jets.

India also harmed Pakistan’s F-16

It is also reported that F-16 fighter jet has also suffered a loss on Jokokabad airbase of Pakistan. Due to the fear of America, Pakistan did not blow these F-16, but F-16 aircraft were damaged in the Indian attack in the hangar of Jokokabad Airbase. During India’s attack, Pakistan used more and more JF-17, J-10 and Mirage fighter jets. Pakistan has prepared JF-17 in its country with the help of China. J-10 is bought from China and Miraj was bought from France in the 80s.

India destroyed 9 terrorist bases

According to the Indian Air Force, a total of 09 terrorist bases in Pakistan were destroyed during Operation Sindoor. Also, 11 airbases of Pakistani Air Force were ruined during Operation Sindoor Part-2. Apart from this, the Indian Air Force targeted the Radar Station in Lahore and Karachi and the Air Defense System (HQ-9) in Lahore and Karachi via Harop and Haropi Loatering Munition (Drone). It was the result of India’s tremendous retaliation that Pakistan raised hands on the morning of May 10 and demanded a ceasefire. In the afternoon, Pakistani DGMO spoke to the Indian counterpart on the hotline and both countries agreed to postpone military conflict.
