A citizen of Pakistan-occupied PoK has been arrested by the Army in Baramulla district for alleged love affair. He had crossed the LOC and entered the Indian border.
The army action took place on May 31, 2026 i.e. today at around 09:30 am. Army’s 12 Grenadiers unit took a PoK citizen into custody at that time. When he allegedly crossed the Silicot border.
The person is a resident of Pankadi village of PoK.
This suspect has been identified as Zeeshan Ahmed Mir. He is the son of Lal Din Mir. He is a resident of Pankadi village of Muzaffarabad district of PoK.
Reason for crossing the border: Love affair
According to reports, he had crossed the border to meet a girl named Iram Bano. Iram Bano is the daughter of Abdul Majeed Mir. She is a resident of Tillei village of Uri police station area of Baramulla district. The matter is related to love affair. At present both are kept in custody by the army. Apart from the Indian Army, Intelligence Department officials are also interrogating both of them.

Apart from this, Pakistan is written on the country where he resides. Identity Card Number 8260103931149 is registered on his card. Date of birth is 03.04.2004. Videos of both have also surfaced. The Army has taken him into custody and started interrogating him.
