CBSE issues final reminder: Central Board of Secondary Education i.e. CBSE has issued the final reminder for the students of class 12th. Actually, CBSE has issued a final reminder for those students who want to re-check their answer sheets and who are not satisfied with their marks. CBSE said that it has given a final reminder to the students that the last date to apply for verification and re-evaluation under post result services is today. According to the board, the application window will remain open till 11:59 pm today i.e. 7th June. After this no application of any kind will be accepted. After declaring the results of 12th board examination, CBSE had given the students an opportunity to see the copies of the evaluation answer sheets. After this, students who found any kind of mistake or marking related problem in their copy were provided the option to apply for verification and re-evaluation.

For which services can I apply?

Post result services provided by the board include Verification of Issues Observed and Re-evaluation of Answers. Under the verification process, students can apply for review of any specific problem or mistake seen in their answer sheets. Through re-evaluation, students can request to check those questions for which they feel that marks were not given during the evaluation. The board has clarified that if there is any change in the marks after the review process, then the revised marks will be considered final.

Advised not to wait till the last minute

CBSE has advised students not to postpone the application process till the last moment. Students have been advised to read the eligibility guidelines carefully before applying and fill all the information correctly. After completion of the application, it has been asked to keep its copy and payment receipt safe, so that it can be used if needed in future.

Good participation of students is being seen in the re-evaluation and answer sheet verification process started by CBSE Board. According to the board, till the morning of June 3, about 40 thousand students have applied online without any major problem. CBSE says that the portal is working smoothly and is being continuously monitored for the convenience of the students.

40 thousand students applied

According to CBSE, a large number of students are applying for re-evaluation and checking of possible errors in the answer sheet. The board said that till now about 40 thousand students have successfully completed the application process. This shows that the demand for transparency regarding their results is continuously increasing among students.

Multiple payment options available

The board has clarified that students do not need to open an account in any particular bank to deposit the application fee. Payment can be made through UPI, net banking, debit card and credit card. Payment gateways of different banks have been made available to the students so that the payment process remains easy.

The portal will remain open till June 6

CBSE has started the online portal for re-evaluation and verification from June 2. Students can apply till the night of June 6, 2026. The board has made it clear that no application will be accepted after the last date and the facility of offline application is also not available.

What problems can students complain about?

If any student finds any discrepancy in his scanned answer sheet, he can lodge a complaint. This includes problems like missing pages, missing supplementary sheets, missing graphs or maps, blurry scanned copies or wrong answer sheets being uploaded.

how much will be charged

A fee of Rs 100 per answer sheet has been fixed for checking technical or other mistakes in the answer sheet. Whereas for re-evaluation of any question, students will have to pay a fee of Rs 25 per question.

Students should pay special attention to these things

CBSE has advised students to check all the information carefully before submitting the application. Once the application is frozen and payment is made, no changes can be made in it. The application will be considered successful only when the online payment is completed.

Aadhaar verification required

Keeping security in mind, the board has implemented Aadhaar based login and verification process. To apply, students will have to login to the portal through Aadhaar number. The board believes that this will help in curbing fraudulent activities.

CBSE said that an attempt was made to impact the portal in recent times, but the technical teams handled the situation and maintained normal services. Besides, many technical improvements have also been made for the convenience of the students.

CBSE Re-evaluation 2026: After the declaration of CBSE 2026 results, there is big news for the students who are confused about their marks. CBSE has now started an online portal for verification of marks and re-evaluation. Students who have received the scanned copy of their answer sheets can apply for re-checking and re-evaluation of their marks. This facility has been made available by the board for a limited time and the last date for application has been fixed as June 6.

Aadhaar verification is necessary for application

This time CBSE has included Aadhaar verification for security in the verification and re-evaluation process. According to the information released by the board, students will have to provide Aadhaar related information while applying. However, students who do not have Aadhar card can use the Aadhar number of their parents or a close relative. In such cases, the name, date of birth and gender filled during the application should be as per the Aadhaar details of the person whose Aadhaar number is being used. Apart from this, CBSE has also advised to carefully read the important guidelines issued by the board before applying.

The problems of the students increased after the results came.

After the declaration of CBSE results this year, a large number of students had raised questions regarding the marks obtained. Many students said that they got less marks than expected, while some students also raised objections about the evaluation process. In such a situation, there was a wait for the re-evaluation and verification process to start, which has now been started by the board.

Also read- Good news for those with 60 percent marks, they will get scholarship worth thousands of rupees every year.

Evaluation remained in discussion due to OMS system

This time the evaluation process was especially in the news because the board used the on-screen marking system on a large scale. In this digital system, examiners check the scanned answer sheets. After the release of the results, many students had lodged complaints related to the evaluation on social media. Some students had also raised questions regarding technical problems in the scanned copy and evaluation of answers. This is the reason why this time there was a lot of interest among students regarding post result services. Apart from this, the board has also made a big change in this year’s fees. Whereas earlier students had to pay up to Rs 700 to get scanned copies of answer sheets, now they will have to pay only Rs 100 per subject. Similarly, the fee for marks verification has also been reduced to Rs 100 per subject. Students have also been given relief for re-evaluation. Now for revaluation of any question, only Rs 25 per question will have to be paid, whereas earlier this amount was Rs 100 per question.

Check these things before applying

According to the board, before applying for re-evaluation, students should check their scanned copy carefully. They should ensure that all the answers have been evaluated, that no pages have been left out of evaluation, that no mistakes have been made in the addition of marks and that no answers have been wrongly ignored.

Every year, with the announcement of CBSE Board results, both happiness and stress come to the homes of lakhs of students. Some celebrate when they get good marks, while others look at their marksheet and wonder how they got such low marks. Something similar is being seen this time too. But a big change is clearly visible in 2026, this time a record number of students have asked for re-checking and scanned copy of their answer sheets.

CBSE has now released a new update regarding the answer book process, which has caught the attention of both students and parents. According to the latest data of the board, till 6 pm on May 26, 2026, a total of 4,04,319 students have applied for the scanned copies of their examined copies. The most surprising thing is that these students have demanded a total of 11,31,961 answer books. That means a student has expressed his desire to see copies of not just one but many subjects.

Why is restlessness increasing among students?

After the results are declared, many students feel that they have got less marks than expected. Some students believe that their copy was not checked properly, while others fear that there was a mistake in adding the numbers. This is the reason why this time a large number of students decided to see their answer sheets.

According to CBSE, till now 8,98,214 answer books have been made available to the students digitally. The remaining pending requests will be completed by May 27, 2026. The board says that efforts are being made to complete the entire process quickly so that students do not have to wait much.

New portal will open till 29th May

CBSE has also informed that the application portal for verification and re-evaluation of answer books is expected to go live by 29 May 2026. That is, those students who feel that marks have been given less in their copy or some mistake has been made, they will soon be able to apply for re-verification. This facility of the board is considered very important for the students, because it gives them a chance to see their copy and make corrections in case of mistakes.

Applications increased manifold compared to last year

CBSE figures are showing a big change this time. In the year 2025, about 1.31 lakh students had applied for marks verification and re-checking. At that time approximately 2.82 lakh answer sheets were challenged. But in 2026 the situation has completely changed. This time more than 4 lakh students have asked for scanned copies of 11.31 lakh answer books. That means this number is many times more than last year.

Education experts believe that the concern about numbers is continuously increasing among students. In today’s time, the difference of a few marks can affect college admission and career. This is the reason why students have now become more cautious about their marks than before.

Concern of parents also increased

Not only students, parents are also continuously keeping an eye on this process. Many parents believe that if the student has worked hard, he should get the right result. This is the reason why now people have started taking verification and re-evaluation seriously.

The board has released the complete process and application dates.

According to reports, students will be able to apply to get a scanned copy of their answer sheet from May 19, 2026. The last date for application has been fixed as 22 May 2026. For this, students will have to pay a fee of Rs 700 per subject.

The process will be completed in two phases

According to the guidelines issued by CBSE, the re-evaluation process will be completed in two phases.
