Step 2- House Hold Registration

Here the name of the head of the family will be recorded, which cannot be changed later. It is necessary to enter a mobile number along with it, so it should be different for every household.

Step 3- Language and Verification

You can choose any one of the 16 languages ​​of your choice which include Hindi, English, Bengali, Tamil Nadu and Urdu. After this, verification will have to be done with the OTP received on the mobile number.

Step 4- Fill location details

In this, information about district, area, locality and surrounding landmarks will have to be filled, if desired, pin code can also be added.

Step 5- Mark the location of the house on the map

This is an important step, in which you have to mark the exact location of your house on the map. This will help the officers in identifying the correct area.

Step 6- Fill the Questionnaire

After this, information related to home and family will have to be filled. This includes details like condition of the house, number of rooms, number of family members. Apart from this, information about facilities like water, electricity, washroom and kitchen will also have to be given.

Step 7- Review Details

After filling the form, check all the information carefully. Changes can be made if needed or saved as a draft.

Step 8- File Submission

Make final submission when all the information is correct. After this you will get 11 digit SE ID which will have to be kept safe.

Step 9- Enumerator Visit

When the officers come home, they will have to show this SE ID. If the information matches then the process will be considered complete. Otherwise information will be taken again.

Timeline and important things

A total of 33 questions will have to be answered in this process. This includes information about the structure of the house, ownership, family members, facilities, kitchen, internet and even vehicles. Self enumeration will be from May 1 to May 15, door to door survey will be from May 16 to June 14. Around 50 thousand government employees will be employed in this work. Apart from this, some important things will also have to be kept in mind. For example, only one household will be registered with one mobile number and if the form is left incomplete, it will not be counted.
