Many states of North India are troubled by the scorching heat, whereas the weather patterns in South India are completely different. Rain has started in some states including Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The important thing is that the Meteorological Department has given good news to the northern states also. Uttar Pradesh including Delhi NCR can also get respite from the heat. Rain is expected in some states.

The weather patterns are constantly changing in NCR. According to the latest forecast of IMD, people will have to face scorching heat, strong sunlight and strong surface winds for the next two days. After this, on June 11 and 12, there will be a big change in the weather due to the effect of western disturbance and pre-monsoon.

When will it rain in Delhi-NCR

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for storm, thunder and light rain for both these days. Due to this, the temperature is likely to drop and people will get relief from the heat. On June 10, the maximum temperature is expected to be 43 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 30 degrees Celsius. The sky may remain partly cloudy and there will be a possibility of development of thunderstorms.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will change from June 11. On this day, the maximum temperature is expected to drop to 39 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature to be 30 degrees Celsius. In the evening, there may be light to very light rain, thunderstorms and gusty winds at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour.

How will the weather be in UP-Bihar and Rajasthan?

In some areas of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Uttarakhand and East Rajasthan, stormy winds with a speed of 60 to 120 kilometers per hour can blow along with severe thunderstorms. Apart from this, strong winds are expected to blow at a speed of 40 to 60 kilometers per hour in Haryana also. This can definitely provide some relief from the scorching heat.

How will be the weather condition in Tamil Nadu?

There is a possibility of heavy rain in Tamil Nadu due to the south-west monsoon. Regional Meteorological Center (RMC) gave this information. According to the new bulletin of RMC, the Western Ghats of Dharmapuri, Salem, Erode, Nilgiri, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Dindigul, Theni, Kanyakumari and Tirunelveli districts will receive rain till June 12.

The weather is going to worsen across the country. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), while issuing the extended range forecast from May 14 to May 27, has clearly warned that on one hand, North and West India is going to be scorched, while on the other hand, there is a possibility of heavy rains and storms in many states of the North-East and South.

According to the extended range forecast released by IMD, severe heat and heatwave conditions are being created in North-West and Central India. People of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Western-Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh will have to take special precautions. There is a possibility of severe heatwave in western Rajasthan between 17th to 19th May, while the effect of heatwave may remain in Delhi, Haryana and Punjab from 16th to 20th May.

According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in North-West India may go above normal by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius. Recently the mercury has reached 48.3 degrees in Barmer, Rajasthan, while 46.1 degrees was recorded in Jaisalmer. It may be difficult to go out during the afternoon.

Continuation of rain and storm in Northeast and South

On the other hand, due to the effect of well-marked low pressure area and cyclonic circulation formed in the Bay of Bengal, there will be continuous rain and strong storm activities in Northeast India, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

IMD has issued an alert of heavy to very heavy rain in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Mizoram and Sikkim. In Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha, winds can blow at a speed of 50 to 70 kilometers per hour. There is a possibility of hailstorm in some areas. Heavy rains can lead to waterlogging, traffic jams and local floods in low-lying areas.

monsoon speed up

The Meteorological Department has also informed that the southwest monsoon may advance into parts of Andaman Sea, South Bay of Bengal and Andaman and Nicobar Islands around May 16. This means that preparations for the arrival of monsoon now seem to be intensifying.

Advice:

In hot areas, avoid exposure to sunlight between 12 noon to 4 pm, drink plenty of water and take special care of children and the elderly. In rainy states, keep checking weather updates continuously, be cautious in weak houses and low-lying areas.

Overall, this double attack of weather is going to continue on people for the next two weeks. According to IMD, changes in weather conditions are being continuously monitored by IMD.

Situation of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh

There is a possibility of cloud cover in Rajasthan in the afternoon and drizzle at some places. Hanumangarh, Sriganganagar, Bikaner and Churu may receive light rain on 17 and 18 February. Strong winds may also blow during this period. There is a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning in Madhya Pradesh on 18th and 19th February.

The effect of the weather of 15 September 2025 in the country will appear differently. Heavy rains in Maharashtra, Bihar and Jharkhand will bother, while the people of UP and Himachal will get relief. There is a need to be cautious due to rain in Uttarakhand and Madhya Pradesh. The return of the monsoon is near, but currently the rain can cause problems in many places.

Delhi-NCR can be cloudy on 15 September. Light drizzle is expected in southern and East Delhi, while the temperature in other areas may increase slightly. Humid and heat can bother people.

Relief in Uttar Pradesh
All the districts of Uttar Pradesh have been kept in the green zone. There is no possibility of rain here. The water level of rivers is also gradually decreasing, due to which people are getting relief in flood affected areas.

Heavy rain forecast in Bihar
Many districts of Bihar may receive heavy rains on 15 September. People have been advised to be vigilant in Saran, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Samastipur, Khagaria, Araria, Kishanganj and Supaul. Due to continuous rains, there is a danger of water logging and rising water level.
