Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the exam schedule for GD Constable Recruitment 2026. There is a relief news for lakhs of candidates. Through this examination, there will be selection for posts like constable in BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, SSF and Assam Rifles. According to official information, SSC GD exam will run from 27 April 2026 to the end of May 2026. The examination will be conducted in four main phases/weeks namely 27 April-2 May, 4-9 May, 18-23 May, and 25-30 May 2026. Also, candidates can choose the exam slot of their choice by visiting the official website ssc.gov.in from 11 April to 15 April 2026.

Exam Pattern and Selection Process

The examination will be computer based (CBE) in several stages. In which there are 80 multiple choice questions (MCQs), in which the paper has a total of 160 marks and the time given is 60 minutes. After this, in the second phase, the candidates who pass CBT will have to undergo Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Medical Test.

• General Intelligence & Reasoning: 20 questions (40 marks)
• General Knowledge & Awareness: 20 questions (40 marks)
• Elementary Mathematics: 20 questions (40 marks)
• English/Hindi: 20 questions (40 marks)
• There is also negative marking in which 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Whereas the age limit for general category is 18 to 23 years, in which OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets upper age relaxation of 5 years, under which 18 to 26 years for OBC and 18 to 28 years for SC/ST have been fixed. Apart from this, in physical standards, minimum height is required to be 170 cm for men, 157 cm for women and 80 cm chest for men.

Central Board of Secondary Education has released an important information related to Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) Recruitment 2025. The board has released the dates of Tier-1 examination. Information related to shift and examination city has been made public. This news has brought relief to lakhs of candidates. Tier-1 exam will be held in January 2026

According to the information released by CBSE, Tier-1 examination of KVS and NVS Recruitment 2025 will be conducted in January 2026. This examination will be conducted on 10 and 11 January 2026. The examination will be conducted in CBT mode. The examination for different posts will be held in different shifts so that all the candidates can get a chance to take the examination smoothly.

Examination will be conducted in two shifts

CBSE has released the schedule of Tier-1 examination of KVS and NVS Recruitment 2025. The examination will be held on 10-11 January 2026 and will be held in two shifts. Candidates can download the City Intimation Slip and Admit Card from the official website. All necessary instructions will be available in the admit card. Tier-1 examination will be held in two shifts every day. The first shift will run from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, while the second shift will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. It has also been clarified by the board that the admit card for KVS and NVS recruitment exam will be released about two days before the exam. The complete address of the examination centre, reporting time, shift time and necessary instructions related to the examination will be given in the admit card. Without admit card, you will not be allowed to enter the examination center.

Union Public Service Commission i.e. UPSC has released the admit card of Indian Forest Service IFS Mains Exam 2025. In such a situation, those who had applied for the examination can download their admit card from the official website upsc.gov.in. As per the schedule, UPSC IFS Mains Exam 2025 will be conducted from November 26 to November 23 at different centers across the country. The examination will be held in two shifts every day. The first shift will be from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift will be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Apart from this, it is mandatory for the candidates to carry the print copy of the admit card and valid photo ID proof to the examination centre. Without admit card, entry into the examination center will not be allowed.

What is the exam pattern of IFS Mains?

There are total 6 papers in the mains examination of Indian Forest Service. In which the first paper is of General English, this paper is of 300 marks. The second paper is of General Knowledge, this paper is also of 300 marks. Apart from this, the remaining three to six papers include two optional subjects selected from the official list, each paper of which is of 200 marks. The time for each paper will be 3 hours.

IFS Mains Exam Schedule

• UPSC IFS Mains Exam 2025 will start from 16th November. In which there will be General English paper in the morning shift on 16th November. After this, there will be General Knowledge paper in the second shift.
• Whereas on November 18, there will be Maths Paper-I / Statistics Paper-I in the first shift and Maths Paper-II / Statistics Paper-II in the second shift.
• Civil, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering/Zoology Paper-I will be held in the first shift on 19th November. In the second shift, there will be Civil, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering/Zoology Paper-II.
• After this, Agricultural Engineering/Physics/Animal Husbandry Paper-I will be held in the first shift on 20th November. In the second shift, there will be Agricultural Engineering/Physics/Animal Husbandry Paper-II.
• Chemistry/Botany Paper-I will be held in the first shift on 21st November. There will be Chemistry/Botany Paper-II in the second shift.
• Geology Paper-I will be held in the first shift on 22nd November. And in the second shift there will be Geology Paper-II.
• On November 23, there will be Agriculture/Forestry Paper-I in the first shift and Agriculture/Forestry Paper-II in the second shift.
