Amidst the increasing tension in the Middle East, Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian has given a big statement regarding the country’s security and foreign policy. While sharing a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), he said that Iran’s first priority is to maintain the security of the country and the peace of the people. President Massoud Pezeshkian said Iran is fully committed to defending its national rights and will not retreat in the face of any threat or pressure. He said that the country stands firmly on issues related to its security and sovereignty.

Masoud Pezeshkian also said in the message that both diplomacy and defense are important parts of the strength of any country. Iran has neither abandoned its defense front nor closed the path of dialogue. He said that the country gives importance to both security and dialogue together.

The priority is the security and peace of the people. We will defend the rights of the nation with authority and will not back down from any threat. Diplomacy and defense are the power of the nation; I have left neither the field nor the table of talks. With the hope of God, with unity and intelligence, Iran will also pass this test with flying colors.

Iranian President’s appeal to the people

The Iranian President appealed to the people to remain united and said that on the strength of unity, understanding and patience, Iran will successfully come out of this difficult period. He expressed confidence that the country is capable of facing the current challenges and will continue to protect its national interests under any circumstances. This statement of the President has come at a time when tension in the region is continuously increasing and the whole world is keeping an eye on the developments related to Iran.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met US President Donald Trump in Florida, after which Trump gave a direct challenge to Iran and said that if its behavior does not improve, the consequences are going to be very bad. Iranian President Masoud Pejeshkian has given the answer to this through social media. He has claimed that Iran is ready to give a ‘strong’ response to any attack.

It is also possible that there may be a stronger attack than last time: Trump

After meeting Netanyahu on Monday, when asked about Iran’s missile and nuclear program, Trump said that there is no confirmation yet, but if it is true then the consequences will be very dangerous. It is also possible that there may be a stronger attack than last time. Iran should have made a deal last time and we had given it a chance, but this will not happen every time.

US President Donald Trump warned that the US would launch another military strike against Iran if it attempted to rebuild its ballistic missile or nuclear program. Speaking to reporters, Trump said that Washington is closely monitoring Tehran’s activities.

Will US support if Israel attacks Iran? Trump replied

When asked whether the US would support an Israeli strike targeting Iran’s missile program, he said he would fully support an immediate strike if Iran tried to rebuild its nuclear capabilities.

Trump and Netanyahu met at the Mar-a-Lago apartment in Florida. This was the fifth meeting between the two this year.

On June 22, America had bombed Iran’s nuclear sites.

On June 13, 2025, Israel attacked Iran’s nuclear facilities, targeting military, nuclear and residential areas for 12 consecutive days. Later on June 22, America attacked Iran’s three nuclear bases in Natanz, Fordow and Isfahan. Cease fire was announced after 24 days.

According to media reports, Iran’s President Masood Peneshkian had a minor injury to the leg during a conflict with Israel. Porashakians were injured on 16 June during the Israeli air attack targeting a building in western Tehran.

Supreme National Security Council meeting continued
The missile attack took place when a high-level meeting of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council was going on. According to ‘Fars News Agency’ affiliated to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Judiciary Head Mohseni AJE and other senior leaders were present in the meeting.

Fear of infiltration, investigation begins
This incident has increased Iran’s concern. Officials suspect that such an accurate attack was made on the spotlight of an intruder. This is the reason why investigation has been started regarding the missile strike.

Attack in Nasrallah style
According to the report, the Israeli campaign was prepared after the murder of Hizbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah in Berut. Six missiles were fired at the entry and exit point of the building, so that the survival routes would be closed and the airflow could be disrupted.

Officers were removed from emergency gate
When missiles fell, the Iranian officials were present on the lower floor of the building. Due to this, the power went down for some time. Despite the chaos, the authorities helped get out of an emergency gate. However, during this time some officers suffered minor injuries.

President has already accused of murder
President Page Seshakian was also one of these injured, who has accused Israel of attempting to assassinate him. In an interview given to journalist Takar Takar Karlson, Page Sakian said, “He (Israel) tried. Yes, he worked according to the same plan, but failed.”

Attack in Shahk-e-Garb
According to another report by Iran International, the attack took place near Shahrak-e-Garb in Western Tehran. The attack was part of a comprehensive struggle for 12 days, during which Israeli forces allegedly killed several top Iranian military commanders and nuclear scientists. Those killed include IRGC Commander Hussain Salami, Iranian Armed Forces head Mohammad Bagheri and IRGC Air Force Commander Amir Ali Hajizadeh and other senior officials.

There was also a plan to kill Khamenei
Previous reports also indicated that Israel had planned to assassinate Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei during the struggle, but never got the right opportunity.
