In the desolate western desert of Iraq, the eyes of a shepherd saw the secret which Israel had kept hidden from the eyes of the world for more than a year. This is the story of 29-year-old Awad Al-Shammari, who was going to the nearby town of Al-Nukhaib to buy groceries in his pickup truck on March 3, 2026, but on the way he saw something that ended his life forever. This rule created an upheaval in the politics of the entire Middle East. In fact, Israel had built not one, but two secret military bases on Iraqi soil to carry out its military action against Iran…

What did the shepherd see and what happened next?

On the afternoon of 3 March 2026, Awad al-Shammari was heading towards al-Nukhaib. His family lived in a Bedouin camp in a desolate desert area of Iraq’s Anbar province. On the way, he saw something which was not at all normal in that wilderness – soldiers, helicopters, tents and a temporary landing strip were gathered around. Awad immediately understood that this was a secret military base. He immediately informed the regional command of the Iraqi Army.

But giving this information became a disaster for Awad. According to the report of the American newspaper The New York Times, when he was returning in the evening, an Israeli helicopter chased him in the air and fired continuously at his pickup truck. The truck caught fire and stopped in the sand. Awad died in this attack. Three eyewitnesses from the camp saw this horrific scene with their own eyes. Awad’s cousin Amir al-Shammari told the newspaper that he believed Awad had witnessed Israel’s military secret, which he was killed to hide.

First secret base: Wall Street Journal reveals

First of all, on May 10, 2026, the American newspaper The Wall Street Journal exposed this entire matter. The report said that Israel had built a secret military base in the desolate desert of Iraq to carry out its air operations against Iran. This base served as a logistics hub for the special forces of the Israeli Air Force. Here Israeli fighter planes could refuel during the attack on Iran, pilots could be treated and if any pilot fell in enemy territory, IDF soldiers were also deployed here to save him.

Another very shocking thing came to light in the report. When Awad al-Shammari informed about this base, a unit of the Iraqi Army reached the spot to investigate. On this the Israeli army carried out air strikes on Iraqi soldiers. An official of the Wall Street Journal told that the IDF drove back the Iraqi army with air strikes and during this time an Iraqi soldier was also killed. American sources clarified to the newspaper that the American military had no role in this matter.

Second Secret Base: Secrets of Operation Rising Lion

The story does not end here. The New York Times, quoting Iraqi officials in its report, said that the base that Awad had seen was just one. Israel had built another secret military base in the western desert of Iraq, about which no one was even aware. This second base was even older and more sensitive than the first one.

According to the report, this second base is even before the current war between America, Israel and Iran that started in February 2026. It was specially prepared for ‘Operation Rising Lion’ to be conducted in June 2025. This operation against Iran lasted for 12 days and support was given to the Israeli Air Force from this base. Israel had started preparations for this base at the end of 2024 itself. The location of this base is still kept completely secret.

How did the process of uncovering the secret happen?

The process of uncovering these secret bases began after the death of Awad al-Shammari. The Iraqi Joint Operations Command announced after the incident that a ‘foreign force’ had attacked Iraqi forces. However, talks between Baghdad and the US military command made it clear that the attacking forces were not ‘American’, which led to the conclusion that they were Israeli.

In late March, Iraq filed a complaint with the United Nations, saying that foreign forces were involved. However, Iraq blamed America for the air strikes. Meanwhile, many senior Iraqi officials accused America of helping and protecting Israel in running this secret base. At the same time, American sources say that they were aware of this base, but they had no active role in it.

After all, why did Israel build bases in Iraq?

According to experts, by building these secret bases in Iraq, Israel had reduced the distance to attack its biggest enemy Iran to a great extent. From these bases, it was getting important facilities like reducing flight time, refueling, providing medical services and logistics support during air strikes on Iran. These bases were working as ‘Forward Operating Base’ (FOB) for Israel.

An earthquake in Iraqi politics

The revelation of these secret bases has increased the problems for the already weak government of Iraq. It is a very shameful situation for Baghdad that for years a country, which it considers its enemy, was running a secret military base on its land. This revelation has made Iraq’s difficult balance between Iran and America even more complicated. According to the report of The New Arab, this case has created a big storm in Iraqi politics, in which the government is being accused of failing to protect the sovereignty of the country.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Tuesday (April 28) has announced its separation from OPEC and OPEC+, the organization of countries producing and exporting crude oil. This decision has come at a time when the energy crisis is deepening across the world due to the ongoing war with Iran. This step of UAE, which has been a part of OPEC for a long time, can have a big impact on the unity of this group led by Saudi Arabia. Now the question is what effect will this have on OPEC, will it disintegrate and how will India benefit? You will know in the explainer…

Question 1: What is OPEC and what is its function?
answer: The full name of OPEC is Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries. It was established on 14 September 1960 in Baghdad. Its initial five founding members were Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Venezuela. UAE joined OPEC in 1967.

The main objective of OPEC is to coordinate and integrate the petroleum policies of its member countries so that oil producers get better and stable prices, consumer countries get efficient and regular oil supplies and investors in the industry get fair returns.

Currently OPEC has 12 member countries, which include Algeria, Congo, Nigeria, Libya, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea apart from the 5 founding countries and UAE. This organization controls about 30% of the world’s total oil production. OPEC+ was formed from 2016, in which non-OPEC countries like Russia, Kazakhstan etc. also joined, due to which the total production reached about 40-41% of the world. OPEC is often called a cartel because it sets production quotas to control oil prices. When prices fall, production reduces and when needed, it increases.

OPEC sets oil production quota

Question 2: Why did UAE leave OPEC?
answer: On 28 April 2026, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) formally announced that it was leaving both OPEC and OPEC+ with effect from 1 May 2026. UAE said that this decision has been taken keeping in mind its ‘national interests’ and ‘long-term strategic and economic vision. The UAE now wants to focus on increasing its domestic energy production capacity and playing a more independent role in the global energy market.

This decision has come amid the Iran war, in which the Strait of Hormuz (the route through which about 20% of the world’s oil and LNG passes) is affected. Diplomatic Advisor to the UAE President Anwar Mohammad Gargash said that the stance of Arab and Gulf countries (GCC) remained very weak during Iran’s attacks. He did talk about logistical help, but expressed disappointment at the lack of support at the political and military levels. This step is a big blow to Saudi Arabia led OPEC. UAE was an important and disciplined member of OPEC.

Anwar Mohammad Gargash expressed disappointment over the lack of military help

Question 3: Is OPEC disintegrating, if yes then how big is it?
answer: UAE’s departure is definitely a big blow for OPEC, but complete disintegration cannot be said yet. UAE was OPEC’s third or fourth largest producer. Due to this, OPEC’s production capacity may decrease by about 15%.

In the past years too, many members have come and gone, such as Indonesia, Qatar, Ecuador, Angola etc. left or suspended membership. But the departure of a strong and compliant member like UAE has a different meaning.

Experts say that this weakens the unity of OPEC and raises questions on the leadership ability of Saudi Arabia. If other Gulf countries like UAE also follow the same path, then the influence of OPEC may further reduce in future. Right now this is the departure of one member, but amidst the Iran war and geopolitical tensions, it is a worrying sign for the organization.

Question 4: Who will be harmed by this disintegration?
answer: This scarcity will cause 4 major losses:

Loss of OPEC and especially Saudi Arabia: The power to set production quotas and control prices will be reduced. Saudi Arabia, which is the de-facto leader of OPEC, may have to bear more of the burden alone.

Oil exporting countries: If OPEC weakens, oil prices may become more volatile, which will affect their income.

Advantages and disadvantages of oil consumers around the world: UAE can now produce more oil, free from quotas, which is likely to increase supply and lower prices. Due to Iran war, currently Brent crude is above $111 per barrel. UAE’s exit may stabilize or bring down prices in the long run. Big importing countries like India (which import more than 80% of oil) may get relief.

For the Trump Administration: Many reports are calling it a diplomatic victory for US President Donald Trump. Trump has long been accusing OPEC of looting the world by deliberately increasing oil prices. UAE’s departure weakens OPEC and could increase America’s influence in the energy market.

Question 5: Then what can happen next in this case?
answer: UAE’s departure will not have an immediate impact on oil supplies as the Strait of Hormuz is still affected, but in the long run it will challenge the unity of OPEC+. If prices fall, the budget deficit of Saudi Arabia and other members could increase.

Experts are saying that this step is a sign of UAE moving towards its own energy diversification and independent policy. Uncertainty has increased in the world oil market. On one side there is Iran war, on the other side there is weakening of organizations like OPEC.

In the past weeks, a strange but extremely fast-spreading claim has emerged on social media. America and Israel have become busy in the war against Iran, due to which their efforts to ‘steal clouds’ from the countries of the Middle East have been hampered and that is why it is raining suddenly in some areas. However, officials of science and meteorological departments say that no such technology exists by which any country can ‘steal’ the clouds of another country. But there is no smoke without fire, so where did this question arise and can there really be theft of clouds? You will know in the explainer…

Question 1: How and where did this unique claim of cloud theft originate?
answer: A prominent person who has fueled this claim is Iraqi MP Abdullah al-Kheqani. In an interview given to TV channel Al-Rashid TV, he had said that neighboring countries Turkey and Iran have filed complaints against ‘breaking’ and ‘stealing’ clouds with the help of planes. He claimed that now it is raining again in Iraq because America is engaged in war with Iran. Khekani called it a seasonal weapon.

There was also a rumor on social media that the 66-year rainfall record in Turkey was broken in February 2026 because its air borders were closed due to the war and America could not steal the clouds there. Another claim said Iran’s worst drought in decades ‘ended in five days’ after the attacks on US assets. However, Khekani did not provide proof of the claims.

Khekani did not provide proof of Badal theft claims

Question 2: What do science and experts say about the claim of ‘cloud theft’?
answer: Experts and scientists call this claim completely wrong and unscientific. Amer al-Jabiri, a spokesman for Iraq’s Meteorological Organization, told the BBC that the claim was ‘neither scientific nor logical.’ He said that as early as September 2025, that is, several months before the start of the war on 28 February 2026, it was predicted that there would be more than normal rainfall in Iraq in 2026.

Kaveh Madani, director of the United Nations (UN) Institute for Water, Environment and Health, considers ‘lack of understanding of the weather system’ as the main reason for this misunderstanding. Professor Diana Francis of Khalifa University explains this with an example, saying that the technology of man-made rain (cloud seeding) is ‘just giving a slight push to the already existing cloud, and not completely controlling the weather.’

According to Dr. Jeff French of the University of Wyoming, even if cloud seeding is done in one area, its effect on the rainfall of another area will be very minor and not noticeable more than the normal fluctuations of rainfall. Overall, no technology exists to directly control the direction or intensity of weather systems.

Scientists say that the technology to steal clouds has not been developed

Question 3: If there is no such thing as theft of clouds then why are people believing?
answer: Along with psychological and social reasons, a technical reason is also responsible for this. There is an actual technology called ‘Cloud Seeding’, which is used by many countries like China, UAE, US and Iran. In this technique, fine particles like silver iodide are sprayed on the clouds from planes so that rain can be encouraged. But scientists clarify that this technology cannot ‘steal’ the clouds. With this, a maximum of 15 percent additional rainfall can be achieved from the existing clouds.

Oxford University researcher Dr. Sarah Smith says, ‘Complexity and uncertainty often attract conspiratorial thinking. People fill the void created with something simple and satisfying, but in doing so they move away from the real story. Jordan’s Dr. Isra Tarouneh emphasizes that growing public concern about water scarcity makes people more susceptible to believing such rumors.

Professor James Fleming, an atmospheric scientist at Colby College, America, says, ‘Clouds never stay in one place. These are temporary units that keep forming and disintegrating in a dynamic environment. Therefore, even if a country does seeding, there is no guarantee that rain will fall in that country.

Cloud seeding is used to push clouds to produce rain.

Question 4: Is there any international law on ‘weather weapons’?
answer: There is an international treaty on the weaponization of weather, called the Convention on the Prohibition of Military and Any Other Hostile Use of Environmental Modification Techniques (ENMOD). It came into force in 1978. It has been signed by 78 countries including America, China, Britain, Germany and Russia. This treaty prohibits any type of environmental weapon (weather modifying weapon) for military or hostile use. But the problem is:

This treaty is very weak. There is no explicit ban on modern technologies like cloud seeding.

Not all countries have signed it.

There is no strong system of verification and monitoring of treaty violations.

Arvind Venkataraman, founder of the University of Sustainability, Innovation and Good Governance, says, ‘Any intervention or manipulation of climate has its own risks. Studies show that some methods could bring more droughts and floods, impact our food chain and increase geopolitical conflict.

Question 5: So could there be a war over cloud theft in the future?
answer: Experts believe that if the world does not make strict rules, then the allegation of ‘cloud theft’ can become an excuse for war. Keve Madani says, ‘The existing legal avenues and international agreements are very weak. They are not sufficient to deal with the modern and unprecedented problems that the world faces today. Therefore they cannot really protect the rights of nations.

This could become a major political issue in the next decades. Already, when airspace is closed or there is a sudden flood/drought in a country, the neighboring country starts being accused of ‘cloud stealing’.

Tracy Ressek, climate adviser to former UN chief Ban Ki-moon, warns: ‘The international community needs to urgently strengthen international policy on the security risks of cloud seeding and other climate modification technologies, and soon.’

At the same time, some experts give the opposite answer. He believes that there is no such technology in the world as lifting clouds from one place and taking them to another, i.e. ‘cloud stealing’. Therefore, the question of war in future because of this imaginary thing does not arise. This is a rumor which has spread on social media. As Dr. Jeff French, professor at the University of Wyoming, explains, ‘Even if an attempt is made to increase rainfall in one place by cloud seeding, it will have very little impact on the rainfall in neighboring areas.’

Question 6: Then what is the real and important aspect of this whole story?
answer: The real and serious angle of this whole story is that the false story of ‘Badal Chori’ serves to divert attention from a much bigger and real threat. When rumors like ‘Badal Chori’ spread, people’s anger and fear turn towards an imaginary enemy. Dr. Isra Tarouneh of Jordan’s Muta University says, ‘This situation is increasing people’s uneasiness regarding water conservation.’

Taking advantage of this restlessness, simple and conspiratorial theories like cloud theft spread. The real story is that if there will be wars for water, they will not be over the clouds, but over the control of water sources on the ground.

According to the United Nations Climate Panel (IPCC), due to climate change, the pressure on the already limited sources of water is continuously increasing. When rivers dry up, lakes shrink and groundwater levels fall, it is natural for tensions to arise between countries and communities dependent on these resources. This is the real and serious fight for which the world needs to be prepared now and find solutions, and not focus on imaginary stories like ‘cloud theft’.

In April 2026, America ended its entire military presence in Syria. The last American convoy left Kasarak airbase in Hasakah province. With this, at least seven major bases including Hasaka, Rumailan, Deir ez-Zor were handed over to the Syrian government. Now the Syrian Army has complete control over all these bases. US Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed that about 2000 American soldiers are returning to Jordan. But what happened that Trump took this decision? You will know in the explainer…

Question 1: Whose fear played the biggest role in the American army leaving Syria?
answer: The biggest fear was from the militias supported by Turkey and Iran. Turkey considers the SDF to be part of the PKK terrorist organization and was not able to attack openly in the presence of America. As soon as American troops left, the SDF became weak, due to which it had to compromise with the Damascus government. Besides, there was also a threat of attack from Iran-backed groups. American troops and supplies were evacuated through the Jordan route to avoid Iranian proxy attacks via Iraq.

The Trump administration had made the complete plan in February 2026 itself. The new government of Syria also said that now only one administration will run the entire country and the responsibility for security rests entirely with it. It had now become expensive and risky for America to stay in Syria. This decision was taken exactly 12 years after the campaign against ISIS started in 2014. Then the US, along with the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), defeated ISIS, but the situation changed after the fall of Bashar al-Assad in December 2024 and the arrival of new President Ahmed al-Shaara.

America brokered an agreement between the SDF and the Damascus government, under which the SDF is now joining the Syrian army. America called it “conditions-based transition”. Now the Syrian government itself is dealing with the threat of ISIS, so America no longer needs its presence.

Question 2: Which countries has the US Army evacuated before?
answer: America has withdrawn troops from many places in the last years…

The biggest and most talked about decision was the complete withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021, when the Taliban came back to power.

In 2024-2025, troops were also reduced from parts of Syria and Iraq.

The latest example is a complete withdrawal from Syria during Trump’s second term in 2025-2026.

Earlier, America also withdrew from some smaller bases, such as Al-Tanf base in southern Syria in February 2026.

However, America has shrunk not from the whole world but only according to its needs. Moved out from where the threat of ISIS or terrorism had reduced. But where there are big threats like China, Russia or Iran, presence was increased.

Question 3: Where are American soldiers deployed around the world and why?

answer: The United States has more than 800 military bases or access points in more than 80 countries around the world. According to the data of 2025-2026, these countries have the highest number of soldiers:

Japan: Approximately 55,000-61,000 soldiers because stopping the growing threat of China and security in the Indo-Pacific is a big challenge.

Germany: Approximately 36,000-49,000 soldiers. Reason- NATO’s biggest base and Europe’s security against Russia.

South Korea: There are approximately 24,000-26,000 troops, because the threat from Korea is to be stopped.

Middle East: There are more than 50,000 soldiers. There are military bases in Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan and Kuwait etc. to monitor the remaining ISIS targets and counter Iran’s nuclear program and missiles.

UK, Italy: Air and naval bases, NATO cooperation.

Other: Small and big bases in many countries including Australia, Philippines and Guam.

Overall, more than 2 lakh American soldiers are deployed abroad, because America believes that peace is established through strength. We have to stop China in the Indo-Pacific, Russia in Europe, Iran in the Middle East and counter terrorism. The Trump administration is now focusing more on domestic security, strategic places like the Caribbean and the Panama Canal.

Question 4: Why is there no American base in India?

answer: No American military base has ever been built in India and there is no possibility of it being built in the future. The biggest reason for this is India’s policy of strategic autonomy. From Nehru period to Modi period, every government has clearly said that no foreign soldier can stay on Indian soil. There are 5 big reasons for this:

Independence and Autonomy: India has been a victim of colonialism. He considers the foreign base to be an attack on his freedom. Creating a base may give America an opportunity to interfere in Indian policies.

Non Alignment Policy: India never became a part of any block (NATO or Warsaw). There are agreements like Quad, COMCASA, LEMOA, but these are only for cooperation and logistics, not for a permanent base.

Own strong army: India has the fourth largest army in the world, is a nuclear power and can meet its own needs. There is no need for American security.

Regional Balance: Does not want to spoil relations with China and Russia. China and Russia may be angry with the base.

Political Sensitivity: The Indian public and the opposition will never accept a foreign base.

Even in 2025-2026, there is talk of increasing Quad and Indo-Pacific cooperation with India in the NDAA 2026 law, but there was no discussion on the base. India buys weapons from America and conducts joint exercises, but the principle of not allowing bases to be built remains firm.

Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has expressed gratitude to the people of Iraq for their support in the war against America and Israel in a written message. Iranian media gave this information on Sunday (29 March). Since the name was announced, Mujtaba has not yet appeared in public and has issued only a few written statements. There has been much speculation about his condition and whereabouts due to his lack of visibility, but state television and some Iranian officials have indicated that he is recovering from injuries sustained in the airstrike.

According to the AFP report, Khamenei expressed gratitude to Iraq’s highest religious authority, the Iraqi people, for their clear stance against aggression and their support for Iran, citing Iraq-based Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani, one of the most revered figures in Shia Islam.

Mujtaba Khamenei’s statement
This message was given after a meeting between the Shia Party, the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq and the Iranian Ambassador in Baghdad. No further information was given regarding the medium through which the message was transmitted. Mujtaba has issued his first statement after becoming the Supreme Leader and a message for the Persian New Year Nowruz. Both statements were read by news anchors on TV, in which Khamenei predicted victory in the war.
What did Donald Trump say?
Donald Trump said last week that Washington is talking to a top person in negotiations with Iran, but he clarified that he is not the supreme leader. Trump said, ‘We have not received any news from his son. We don’t know whether he is alive or not.

Fouad Izadi, associate professor at Tehran University, described the joint attacks by America and Israel as ‘illegal’ and said that more than 2,000 civilians were killed in these attacks, including 165 girls. He called it an unnecessary war and said that Iran was no threat to America.

American pressure and Israel’s hand
Izadi claimed that the attack took place under pressure from Israel. He said that Israel is using American troops to establish dominance in this region. He says that this has created difficulties not only for Iran but also for many other countries including India. Israel’s aim is to gain control of Iranian oil, as they did during a coup in 1953.

Iranian retaliation and defense of oil facilities
The Iranian professor said that Iran initially attacked only American military bases because they are valid military targets. He said that Iran did not target oil facilities until Iranian oil facilities were attacked from the other side. He says oil refineries are not normally legitimate military targets, but when our side was attacked, Iran had no choice but to respond.

international influence
According to Izadi, this conflict is not only affecting energy supply and political stability at the regional but also global level. His statement shows the seriousness of the increasing tension between Iran and Western countries.

Amidst the increasing tension in the Middle East, both Iraq and Iran have made their positions clear. While Iraq has refused to give a military base to the US Army, Iran has given a strong message to Britain and warned of possible action.

Iraq’s clear stance
Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani told British Prime Minister Keir Starmer that giving the US military a military base in Iraq would be a violation of the country’s sovereignty. He clarified that Iraq is not in favor of increasing foreign military presence on its soil. The Iraqi government says that the Iraqi Army itself can handle the responsibility of the country’s security. Therefore there is no need to give a base to the American Army.

Parliament’s approval required
The government also made it clear that no final decision has been taken yet on the issue of giving base to the American Army. Any such step would require the approval of the Iraqi Parliament. The presence of US forces in Iraq has long been a matter of controversy. Different opinions have been emerging regarding this within the country. Experts believe that after Iran’s recent attacks on Gulf countries, Iraq has become more cautious and wants to avoid any major conflict.

Iran’s stern warning to Britain
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi clearly told Britain’s Foreign Minister Yvette Cooper that if Britain allows America to use its military bases against Iran, it will be considered a direct action against Iran.

warning of retaliation
Iran has bluntly said that it will take every step to protect its sovereignty. This also means that such military bases can be targeted if needed.

The ongoing war in the Gulf has become a cause of trouble for the world. Now in these dire circumstances, 4 Indians are included on the MV Diva 1 ship stranded at a port in Iraq. A person named Rex Perera trapped here has talked to ABP News.
He told that we have been here for many months. At night, bombs are seen falling in Iran at a distance of 2 to 3 kilometers from our port. We fear that if a missile falls here or there, we too are in danger.

Perera told that food and water were running out on our ship and now with the help of the Indian Embassy, arrangements for food and water have been made here only yesterday. Now the embassy people are taking updates from us every day and also give alerts of danger. We have been told that we will be evacuated from here as soon as the flight service starts.

Israel-US war against Iran continues for last two weeks

Here, 15 days have passed since the ongoing war between America, Israel and Iran. There are continuous attacks from both sides here. The situation remains tense. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Husseini Khamenei has died in this war. In his place, his son Mojtaba Khamenei has now been made the new Supreme Leader. As soon as he became the Supreme Leader, America and Israel are facing tough challenges in the war from Iran.

He has warned America and given instructions to close its military bases in the Middle East. It has also been said that if this is not done then attacks on those targets will continue. Here, US President Donald Trump has said that Mojtaba Khamenei is still alive. He may get seriously injured. But alive in some form or the other.

At the same time, Dr. Abdul Majeed Hakim, representative of the Supreme Leader of Iran, has also given a statement regarding the ongoing war between America, Israel and Iran. He has said that I do not know the timeline of this war. But I know that Iran is fully prepared to continue this war till the end and even for the next five years. Here, America has issued a special exemption for the first 30 days for purchasing oil from Russia.

How many deaths have occurred so far in this war
Many people have died so far in this war. So far 1332 people have died in Iran. At the same time, 12 people have lost their lives in Israel. 13 American soldiers have died. There are reports of 687 people killed in Lebanon. Apart from this, there is news of 20 people being killed in Gulf countries.

Iran’s war with Israel and America is affecting the whole world today. This war has had a very bad impact on the import and export of crude oil and gas in the world. America and Israel, which are said to be the most powerful countries in the world, are continuously attacking Iran, but the Gulf country Iran is giving a befitting reply to both the countries.

Although, on the surface, this war appears to be between two powerful countries versus Iran, but behind the scenes, countries like Russia, China and North Korea are silently helping Iran. In such a situation, it can be said that all these countries are silent allies of Iran.

How is Russia cooperating with Iran?

Russia, which is considered America’s staunch enemy, is not only providing open cooperation but also covert cooperation to Iran. Talking about open cooperation, a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement was signed between Russia and Iran in 2025, which includes defense and intelligence cooperation. At the same time, under hidden cooperation, Russia is sharing intelligence information with Iran on the location of American military bases, ships and planes, so that Iran can carry out attacks. However, Russia has been openly denying. It is also sharing advanced drone technology learned from the Ukraine war. The air defense system is supplying wave attack and course changing tactics of drones and shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missiles.

China’s name also included in the list

As an open cooperation, China is keeping Iran economically strong by buying oil, which helps Iran in war. China is taking precautions to avoid direct conflict with America, but is benefiting in the long run by making Iran dependent. China promised to invest $300–400 billion in Iran’s economy in return for cheap and stable supplies of oil from Iran.

China will donate $200,000 to victims of Iran school attack. Beijing’s Foreign Minister said that the Chinese Red Cross Society will provide emergency humanitarian aid worth US$200,000 through Iran’s Red Crescent Society.

Whereas as a covert cooperation, talks between China and Iran intensified on preparations to provide spare parts, missile components and financial assistance, CM-302 anti-ship cruise missiles, MANPADS, anti-ballistic and anti-satellite weapons.

Iran is also getting help from North Korea

At the same time, North Korea, which is against America, is also openly supporting the Iranian side. While in hidden cooperation, Iran and North Korea have long shared ballistic missile and nuclear technology. Even uranium is being supplied.

‘Axis of Resistance’ is Iran’s hidden strength

The organizations carrying out proxy wars for Iran are its ‘Axis of Resistance’, which includes Lebanon’s Hezbollah, Yemen’s Houthi rebels, Iraq’s PMF militia and Gaza’s Hamas organization.

Lebanon – Hezbollah – Hezbollah is a main part of Iran’s ‘Axis of Resistance’. Its leader takes orders from the Supreme Leader of Iran. Iran created and strengthened Hezbollah after Israel’s invasion of Lebanon in 1982. Iran IRGC funds Hezbollah, has caused huge damage to Israel in Lebanon

Yemen – Houthi – The famous slogan of Houthis is – Allah is great. America should be destroyed, Israel should be destroyed, Jews should be destroyed, Islam should be victorious. The Houthis are waging a civil war against Yemen’s internationally recognized Sunni government. Iran provides them with weapons, training and funding, which has enabled them to carry out missile, drone and maritime attacks.

Iraq – PMF Militia – Popular Mobilization Forces, also known as Hashd al-Shaabi, is a major paramilitary force in Iraq. It was formed in 2014 during the fight against ISIS and is now an official part of the Iraqi Army, but includes several Iran-backed militias. It is subordinate to the Iraqi Prime Minister, but several brigades such as Kataib Hezbollah, Asaib Ahl al-Haq, Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba, Kataib Sayyid al-Shuhada are also linked to Iran’s IRGC and operate independently. Following the US-Israeli attacks on Iran, the Iran-backed faction of the PMF launched drone, rocket and missile attacks on US bases.

Gaza – Hamas – This organization emerged from the Muslim Brotherhood, its goal is armed struggle against Israel and the establishment of an Islamic state in the Palestinian territories West Bank, Gaza, East Jerusalem. Iran has been a major supporter of Hamas since the 1990s. Iran has been funding, providing weapons and technology, weakened by Israeli attacks, but not eliminated.

KC-135 Aircraft Crash: The US Central Command (CENTCOM) said on Thursday that a US military KC-135 airlift aircraft crashed in the western part of Iraq. The second aircraft involved in this incident was successful in landing safely. Rescue operations and rescue operations were immediately started to find the aircraft and crew members.

According to CENTCOM, this incident occurred in Iraqi airspace and was part of the troop movement under Operation Epic Fury. Two aircraft were involved in this incident. A KC-135 plane crashed in western Iraq, while the other plane landed safely.

Know the cause of the accident

The exact cause of this plane crash has not been clear yet. Officials said that this accident did not happen due to any enemy attack or firing. CENTCOM said, ‘This was not due to any enemy attack or firing from any friendly country. “More information will be given as the situation becomes clear.”

Features of the KC-135 aircraft

The KC-135 airlift aircraft has been in operation in the US Air Force for the last 60 years. It usually has three crew members, the pilot, co-pilot and a third person who operates the boom that supplies fuel to the other aircraft. Navigators are also required in some missions and this aircraft can carry a maximum of 37 passengers.

American F-15 fighter jets fall in Kuwait

The US military lost three F-15E fighter jets in Kuwait at the beginning of the war between the US, Israel and Iran in the Middle East. According to CENTCOM, these jets were accidentally shot down by Kuwaiti air defense i.e. it was an incident of friendly fire. The incident occurred while attacks were ongoing, which included Iranian aircraft, ballistic missile and drone strikes. All six aircrew ejected safely by parachute and are now safe. CENTCOM said that Kuwait has acknowledged the incident and the US military is grateful for their rescue efforts and cooperation.
