JEE Advanced 2026 Exam: The admit card for the JEE Advanced 2026 examination to be conducted for taking admission in the big IIT institutes of the country has been released. • Now enter the registration number, date of birth and registered mobile number or email ID.

What needs to be taken to the examination centre?

Candidates will have to carry a valid photo identity card along with the admit card to the examination centre. Without admit card and photo ID, no candidate will be allowed entry into the examination centre. Students have also been advised to reach the center on time before the commencement of the examination.

There was no change in the exam pattern this time

IIT Roorkee has clarified that no change has been made in the pattern of JEE Advanced 2026 exam this time. The examination will be conducted in the same manner as before. Questions related to Physics, Chemistry and Maths will be asked in both the papers. This examination is conducted for admission in 23 IITs and other top engineering institutes of the country.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has released important information related to the examination and registration of JEE Advanced 2026. This year the examination will be conducted on 17 May 2026. Indian candidates will be able to apply online from April 23 to May 2, while the registration process for foreign candidates will start from April 6, 2026. What qualification is required?

To appear in JEE Advanced 2026, candidates must pass Paper-1 of JEE Main 2026 and only the top 2.5 lakh candidates will be able to appear in this examination. The candidate must have appeared for the 12th class examination for the first time in 2025 or 2026. It is mandatory to have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th. The application fee for Indian women candidates and SC, ST and PwD candidates has been kept at Rs 1600. Whereas General and OBC-NCL category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 3200. A separate fee has also been fixed for foreign candidates, in which the application fee has been fixed at US $ 100 for candidates from SAARC countries and US $ 200 for candidates from other countries.

Admit card for JEE Advanced 2026 will be released on the official website from 11 May 2026. Candidates will be able to download their admit card from 11th May to 17th May 2026.
