JEE Advanced 2026 Exam: The admit card for the JEE Advanced 2026 examination to be conducted for taking admission in the big IIT institutes of the country has been released. Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee has released the hall tickets for the candidates today on 11th May 2026. Students appearing in the examination can now download their admit card by visiting the official website jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates will be able to download the admit card till 17th May.
Let us tell you that this year JEE Advanced 2026 examination will be conducted on 17 May 2026 in two seats. The first paper will be held from 9 am to 12 noon, while the second paper will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. It will be mandatory for all the candidates appearing in the examination to give both the papers. Absence in any one paper may result in the candidate being dropped from the evaluation process.
Important information is given in the admit card
Necessary instructions are given in the admit card of JEE Advanced 2026 including the name of the candidate, roll number, photo, signature, address of the examination centre, date and time of the examination. Candidates have been advised to check the information filled in the admit card carefully after downloading it. If any kind of mistake is noticed, immediately contact the examination authority or IIT Roorkee.
How to download JEE Advanced 2026 admit card
- To download the admit card of JEE Advanced 2026 exam, first go to the official website jeeadv.ac.in.
- After this, click on JEE Advanced 2026 Admit Card Admit Card link given on the home page.
- Now enter the registration number, date of birth and registered mobile number or email ID.
- After submitting the login details, the admit card will appear on the screen.
- After this, finally download the admit card and take a printout of it and keep it safe.

What needs to be taken to the examination centre?
Candidates will have to carry a valid photo identity card along with the admit card to the examination centre. Without admit card and photo ID, no candidate will be allowed entry into the examination centre. Students have also been advised to reach the center on time before the commencement of the examination.
There was no change in the exam pattern this time
IIT Roorkee has clarified that no change has been made in the pattern of JEE Advanced 2026 exam this time. The examination will be conducted in the same manner as before. Questions related to Physics, Chemistry and Maths will be asked in both the papers. This examination is conducted for admission in 23 IITs and other top engineering institutes of the country.
