India and China held another high-level military talks on maintaining peace and security along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh. The Corps Commander level meeting took place on October 25 at the Moldo-Chushul point on the Indian side of the Line of Actual Control. This was the first such conversation between the two armies after the Special Representatives talks between National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in August.

India-China agree to maintain peace on LAC

The Foreign Ministry said that the talks took place in a friendly and cordial atmosphere. The ministry said that both sides took note of the progress made since the 22nd round of Corps Commander level meeting in October 2024 and agreed that peace and harmony have been maintained in the India-China border areas. “Both sides agreed to continue using existing mechanisms to resolve any ground issues along the border to maintain stability,” the ministry said.

Efforts to improve relations between India and China

India and China have initiated several measures in the last few months to normalize their relations after India and China ended more than four years of military standoff along the LAC in eastern Ladakh in October last year. The standoff effectively ended after the withdrawal of troops from the last two friction points of Demchok and Depsang was completed.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi visited India on 19 August 2025. India and China subsequently announced several measures for stable, cooperative and forward-looking relations, including jointly maintaining border peace, reopening of border trade and promoting investment flows.

Corps Commander level talks held in Ladakh

The Ministry of External Affairs said on the corps-commander talks, “This was the first meeting of the general-level mechanism in the western sector since the 24th round of talks of Special Representatives held on August 19 last.” A Chinese statement on the corps-commander talks said the two sides held active and in-depth dialogue on the management of the western side of the China-India border.

It said that both sides have decided to maintain communication and dialogue as per the decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping. “They agreed to continue communication and dialogue through military and diplomatic channels under the guidance of the important consensus reached between the leaders of the two countries, and to jointly maintain peace and tranquility in the China-India border areas,” China’s Defense Ministry statement said.

60 thousand soldiers still deployed

Both sides have withdrawn their troops from the conflict areas, but have not withdrawn frontline forces from the border. Currently, around 50,000 to 60,000 troops from each side are deployed along the Line of Actual Control in the eastern Ladakh region.

The military standoff in eastern Ladakh began in May 2020 and resulted in a deadly clash in the Galwan Valley in June the same year, severely straining relations between the two neighbours. The decision to revive various dialogue mechanisms between India and China was taken at a meeting between Modi and Xi in the Russian city of Kazan in October last year.

Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan said on Saturday (October 11, 2025) that Uttarakhand, being a border state, is a strategically very sensitive and important state and there is a need to be alert and cautious on the China border.

Addressing a rally of ex-servicemen here, General Chauhan said that Uttarakhand has a 350 km border with China and 275 km border with Nepal, which makes the state sensitive and strategically important from the security point of view.

India needs to remain alert on LAC

He said, ‘Uttarakhand’s border with China is very quiet and hence sometimes we forget that Uttarakhand is a border state. We should keep in mind that we have some differences with China regarding LAC (Line of Control) and border and sometimes these come to the fore, like in the Barahoti area. For this reason we all have to be alert and cautious.

Chief of Defense Staff appealed to the people of the border areas to actively participate in the security of the border and said that monitoring the borders is not only the responsibility of the army, but the awareness of the local people is also equally important.

CDS recited the famous dialogue of the film ‘Aankhen’

Describing the people living in border areas, especially ex-servicemen, as ‘eyes’, the CDS said that if they remain alert, the borders will remain even stronger. On this occasion, he also recited the famous dialogue of the film ‘Aankhen’, ‘No one can touch the borders of that country, which is guarded by the eyes’.

General Chauhan also said that on the lines of the way cooperative societies supply food to the Army in Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh and Ladakh, now this system will be started in Uttarakhand also. He said that at present the products related to dairy and animal husbandry are being taken from cooperative societies and in the coming time, fresh ration will also be taken from them. This will not only ensure smooth supply of goods to the border areas, but will also provide economic benefits to the local people.

China welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s possible visit on Friday (August 8, 2025) on Friday (August 8, 2025) to attend the Tianjin Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Sangathan (SCO) later this month. He hoped that the event would be a meeting of solidarity, friendship and meaningful results.

People who have knowledge about the case in Delhi said this week that after a gap of seven years, Prime Minister Modi can visit China to attend the SCO’s annual summit later this month.

SCO summit will be held from 31 August to 1 September

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said, “China welcomes Prime Minister Modi for the SCO’s Tianjin Summit.” He was asked about the news of Modi’s visit to China to attend the summit. China will host the SCO Summit in Tianjin from 31 August to 1 September.

He said, “We believe that the combined effort of all parties will have a confluence of solidarity, friendship and meaningful consequences and SCO will enter a new phase of high quality development with more solidarity, coordination, mobility and productivity.”

Sco This conference of the biggest event after its establishment- Guo

Guo said, “Leaders of more than 20 countries, including all member countries of SCO and 10 international organizations, will participate in the relevant programs. SCO Tianjin Summit will be the biggest summit since the establishment of SCO.”

Modi is expected to visit Japan around August 29. After this, he can go to the Chinese city of Tianjin for the SCO summit. There has been no official confirmation of Modi’s visit to Japan and China to two countries yet.

The meeting between PM Modi and President Jinping is not clear

China is the current president of SCO. In such a situation, India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval had gone to China to participate in SCO meetings in the last two months. However, it is not yet clear whether Prime Minister Modi and President Jinping will hold a bilateral meeting during the SCO Summit or not. It is expected that Russian President Vladimir Putin will attend the top leaders participating in the SCO Summit.

PM Modi went to China in 2018 last time

Prime Minister Modi last came to China to attend the SCO summit in June 2018. At the same time, Chinese President Xi Jinping went to India for the second informal summit in October 2019. However, in eastern Ladakh, there was a tussle between the two countries due to deadlock on the border. The military deadlock in eastern Ladakh began in May 2020 and in June the same year, there was a serious tension in the relationship in the Galwan Valley.

In 2024, Modi-Jinping met in Kazan, Russia

The deadlock was effectively ended after the process of returning soldiers from the last two conflict points of Demchok and Depsang under the agreement on 21 October last year. It was decided to resume various dialogues in a meeting between Prime Minister Modi and President Jinping on 23 October 2024 in Kazan, Russia.

This meeting of Modi-shee was held between India and China two days after the agreement to withdraw soldiers from Depsang and Demchok. The two sides took several initiatives to reinforce the relationship, including to resume the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra and re -start tourist visas to Chinese citizens from New Delhi. The two sides are also discussing the methods of resumption of direct flight services between the two countries.

The SCO consisting of India, China, Russia, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Iran and Belarus is an impressive economic and security group that has emerged as one of the largest inter -international international organizations. It was founded in 2001 by the Presidents of Russia, China, Republic, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan at a summit in Shanghai. Pakistan became its permanent member with India in 2017. Iran joined the group in 2023 and Belarus in 2024.

He said that after four years of military deadlock, both sides are now taking steps towards improving relationships.

Rajnath singh in china: For the first time after the clash of Galwan Valley (June 2020), Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has met China’s Defense Minister Admiral Dong June. On the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit (25-26 June), Rajnath Singh met Admiral in Chingdao, China and emphasized the permanent solution of the real retirement line (LAC).

On Friday (27 June), one has been released by the Ministry of Defense of India. According to the statement, the ministers of the two countries had a thorough discussion on the need to maintain peace and harmony on the Indo-China border.

Rajnath Singh gave information about Operation Sindoor to Chinese Defense Minister

Rajnath Singh also informed the Chinese Defense Minister about the heinous terrorist attack against innocent citizens in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April and also about India’s Operation Sindoor with the aim of destroying the terrorist network in Pakistan.

3488 km long disputed border between India and China

During the talks with the Chinese Defense Minister, Rajnath Singh, while emphasizing on the border management, activated the system established on the issue and supported the permanent solution of demarcation on the border. Actually, there is a 3,488 km long disputed LAC (border) between India and China. This border is spread from East Ladakh to Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh. However, this border has been disputed since the 1962 war.

Rajnath Singh’s visit to China after the clash of Galwan Valley is important

In 2020, there was a bloody clash between the forces of the two countries in the disputed Galwan Valley of LAC in East Ladakh. Since the clash, tension on LAC had increased and both countries had deployed their 50 thousand soldiers in East Ladakh.

Following the long -standing dialogue, diplomacy and political level initiative of military commanders, India and China finally decided to end the controversy by signing a disagreement. In such a situation, soldiers of both countries have retreated from the disputed areas. In such a situation, India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s visit to China and talks with the Chinese counterpart is considered very important.

On a visit to the defense minister NSA Had met Chinese Foreign Minister

The special thing is that just before Rajnath Singh’s visit, India’s National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval also visited China and also met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

According to the Ministry of Defense, Rajnath also stressed the need to create good neighboring conditions to increase cooperation for stability in Asia and the world along with the Chinese Defense Minister. The Defense Minister also called for action at the ground level and also called for removing the mistrust generated after the 2020 boundary deadlock.

Ministers of India and China talk at various levels

The two ministers agreed to continue consultation at various levels to get progress on issues related to the return of soldiers through current arrangements, reduce stress, border management and eventually demarcation.

The Defense Minister also expressed his views on the important achievement of the completion of 75 years of establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries. He also appreciated the re -launch of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra after a gap of five years. During the meeting, Rajnath Singh also gave a Madhubani painting to the Chinese Defense Minister in gifts.

India Destroy Pakistan Air Defense System: After executing ‘Operation Sindoor’, India has also destroyed Pakistan’s air defense and radar system. It has been said by the Government of India that Pakistan had tried to target military bases located in 15 cities of India. The Indian Army has destroyed Pakistan’s Air Defense System HQ9 along with thwarting these attacks. This can be a big shock for Pakistan. Actually, Pakistan bought this air defense system from China after spending millions of dollars.

This is not the first time that the Indian Army has destroyed the weapons of the world’s powerful country in this way. Along with destroying China’s air defense system, India has also dusted many weapons of America. In such a situation, let us know that till now the Indian Army has destroyed the weapons of which countries around the world.

China’s HQ-9 destroyed in Pakistan

The Indian Army has destroyed China’s Air Defense System HQ-9. According to information received by defense sources, the Indian Army targeted Pakistan’s air defense system after Pakistan targeted India’s military bases. This air defense system was bought from China by spending millions of dollars. Both Pakistan and China claimed that the HQ-9 is a strong air defense system like Russia’s S-300 which ends the missile by intercepting the missile in the air itself. However, India has now blown up Pakistan’s air defense.

Patton tank

In the 1965 battle between India and Pakistan, the Indian Army also blew up the US -made Patton tanks. Let me tell you, in the 1965 war, Pakistan’s First Armed Division attacked India with about 200 tanks. During this time, the enemy tanks came in in India’s border for about 10-12 kilometers. Indian Army soldier Veer Abdul Hameed had blown these tanks with his RCL jeep, due to which the world was also shocked.

PNS Ghazi

In the 1971 war, Pakistan had the most advanced submarine PNS Ghazi of that time. To stop this submarine, the Indian Navy had launched its oldest INS Rajput in the sea. INS Rajput had destroyed Pakistan’s submarine PNS Ghazi inside the sea, 93 military officers of Pakistan were also killed in this attack.

F-16

The Indian Air Force is one of the most dangerous air forces in the world. IAF has killed not one but twice the world’s most powerful country, America-made F-16 fighter jet. This fighter jet of America is considered quite advanced. America gave these fighter jets to Pakistan. In 1970, the Indian Air Force killed F-16 from MiG-21. After this, Wing Commander Abhinandan also destroyed the fourth generation F-16 from the third generation MiG-21.

Kailash mansarovar yatra: The government of India and China is going to start the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra again. This sacred journey of Kailash Mansarovar is going to start again this year after a gap of five years. The move is being seen as an attempt to normalize the relations between the two countries (India and China), badly affected by the border deadlock in eastern Ladakh.

Ministry of External Affairs released a statement

The Ministry of External Affairs said on Saturday (26 April) that this sacred journey of Kailash Mansarovar will take place from June to August through two routes – Lipulekh Pass in Uttarakhand and Nathu La in Sikkim. The pilgrimage of Kailash Mountains and Mansarovar Lake located in the Tibet Autonomous region of China has great religious significance for Hindus as well as Jains and Buddhists.

The Ministry issued a statement saying, “The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra organized by the Ministry of External Affairs (Mea) is going to take place from June to August 2025.”

Kovid-19 was banned on travel due to epidemic

Initially in 2020, the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra was suspended due to the Kovid-19 epidemic and later postponed due to military deadlock between the two sides on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Eastern Ladakh.

There was a conversation between PM Modi and Chinese President

However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping held talks about bilateral relations. After the talks of the two leaders, both sides held several meetings in the last few months, whose purpose was to normalize bilateral relations.

Foreign Secretary visited Beijing
