Let us tell you that Anant Singh and Gunjan Singh had attended a program in Semrao village of Mirganj police station on 2-3 May. After the video went viral, the police of Mirganj police station had registered an FIR in this case against 9 people including MLA Anant Singh, Bhojpuri singer Gunjan Singh.

In this case, the Gopalganj police had given notice to the MLA to appear before May 15 for ballistic testing of weapons, in which the MLA and his supporters could not appear with the weapons and its license. After this, the police has applied in the court to add two new sections in the FIR. Now it remains to be seen what the court says on May 30.

MLA Anant Singh, who won from Mokama seat in the 2025 assembly elections, will take oath as MLA in the assembly tomorrow (Tuesday, February 03, 2026) at 11 am. For this he has got permission from MP-MLA court. Presently he is lodged in Beur jail in the Dularchand Yadav murder case. He will be brought to the Assembly for the oath under tight security.
