Mokama MLA Anant Singh (Mokama MLA Anant Singh) Has got big relief from the court. Hearing was held in MP-MLA court on Monday (May 25, 2026) in the case of viral video and Arms Act. The arrest of Anant Singh has been immediately stayed by the court. The court has reserved the decision on anticipatory bail. Now the next hearing is to be held on May 30.
Advocate Kumar Harshvardhan, who arrived from Patna High Court, argued on the anticipatory bail plea of MLA Anant Singh. Declaring the MLA innocent, he appealed for anticipatory bail and a stay on his arrest. After listening to all the things, MP-MLA Court Judge Rajendra Kumar Pandey put a stay on the immediate arrest of Anant Singh.

What is the whole matter?
Let us tell you that Anant Singh and Gunjan Singh had attended a program in Semrao village of Mirganj police station on 2-3 May. After this, a video surfaced in which some people were protesting with weapons. After the video went viral, the police of Mirganj police station had registered an FIR in this case against 9 people including MLA Anant Singh, Bhojpuri singer Gunjan Singh.
What is the update in the case?
In this case, the Gopalganj police had given notice to the MLA to appear before May 15 for ballistic testing of weapons, in which the MLA and his supporters could not appear with the weapons and its license. After this, the police has applied in the court to add two new sections in the FIR. Now it remains to be seen what the court says on May 30.
