The Pakistani Army issued a statement on Thursday (December 11, 2025) saying that former ISI Director General Faiz Hami has been accused of various charges including misuse of his position and authority, violation of the country’s secret documents. Apart from this, according to the documents published in the Pakistani Supreme Court in 2023, Faiz Hameed has also been accused of raiding the businesses of a private real estate developer, for which he has been sentenced to 14 years of imprisonment.

ISPR, the Pakistan Army’s public relations department, said in a statement, “Faiz Hameed had served during the tenure of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, who is currently in jail, having been convicted for indulging in political activities and causing undue harm to people.”

“After a lengthy and arduous legal process, the accused has been found guilty of all charges and has been sentenced to 14 years of rigorous imprisonment as per the order announced on Thursday (December 11, 2025),” the statement said.

Faiz had taken retirement after the fall of Imran Khan from power.
