Raj Babbar’s son Arya Babbar had recently accused his stepbrother Prateek Smita Patil of using his father only for money. Now Prateek has responded to Arya through a cryptic post on Instagram. It seems that the actor has taken a dig at Arya’s career in this post.

A few days after Arya’s interview surfaced, Prateek re-shared a post shared by his wife Priya Banerjee. Although the couple did not directly take Arya’s name in the post, it seems that it was in response to Arya’s latest comment against Prateek.

Recently, in an interview given to Vicky Lalwani, Arya had told that his family maintained their relationship with Prateek very carefully for years, but after his divorce from his first wife, Prateek suddenly broke contact with her and never responded to her messages. Arya also accused Prateek that he used to contact his father only for financial help. He said, “It’s like when your career is not going well and you need pocket money from your father to survive, then he is your father. When you want to live in the house which your father bought for Smita Ma, then he is your father. When you want to avail all the facilities, then he is your father. But when you have to accept and respect him in front of the society, then he is not your father. What is this? What is this? Like an elder brother. In form, I love him, but when he is wrong, he is wrong, and this is where he is wrong.”

He further said, “It is very sad that Smita Maa, for whom my father left his family, today the same Smita Maa’s son is not ready to accept her as his father. What could be a bigger tragedy than this?” He said, “As an elder brother, I will be with him, but if I am asked whether I can hug and love him in the same way, then probably not.”
