After police investigation, statements of witnesses, CCTV footage and technical analysis, links were added one after another in this case. Use of fake Aadhaar card for Reiki

Police investigation revealed that accused numbers 6 and 7 had used fake Aadhaar cards and false names to stay in a guest house in ‘Kalyan’ to conduct recce of Juhu area and Rohit Shetty’s house. Not only this, he had also erased the engine and chassis numbers of the vehicle. A motorcycle was used for the crime, whose number is said to be MH-12, FN-2205. According to Crime Branch sources, after the firing, the shooter ran away on the scooter for some distance. After this he asked an auto driver about going to Kalyan, but the driver refused. Later, another auto driver dropped him just before Vile Parle railway station, whose statement has been recorded by the police.
