Sa20 league: 13 Indian players have registered in the fourth season of South Africa’s popular T20 League SA20. The prominent names in this are Piyush Chawla, Siddharth Kaul and Ankit Rajput. All these players will take part in the auction to be held in Johannesburg on 9 September. A list of 784 cricketers has been prepared in this season.

Rules for Indian players of BCCI

According to the rules of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), only those Indian players can play in the foreign league who have said goodbye to international cricket or have refused to play in India and IPL.

Base Price and Resource Price

The base price of Piyush Chawla is Rs 50 lakh (1,000,000 rand).

Imran Khan’s base price is Rs 25 lakh (500,000 rand).

The base price of all other Indian players is about 10 lakh rupees (200,000 rand).

All these 6 franchises in the league have a total budget of US $ 7.4 million, which they will use to fill 84 slots. SA20 also asked every team to choose a wildcard player from the fourth season, but that player can be foreign or South African only. Those players will be outside the cap.

Dinesh Karthik’s record

Former Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik has taken part in this league first. He played for Parl Royals last season, at that time he had said goodbye to all formats in international cricket and also withdrew his name from the IPL.

Participation of Pakistani and English players

This time 40 Pakistani players have registered, including Azam Khan, Imam-ul-Haq, Abrar Ahmed and Sam Ayub.

More than 150 England players have also registered, including international players like Jason Roy and Alex Hales.

Former Indian Pacer Siddharth Kaul has registered for Big Bash League: Former Indian fast bowler Siddharth Kaul can be seen playing in the Big Bash League to be held in Australia. Kaul has registered his name in this year’s BBL draft. In this league, Pakistan’s legendary batsman Babar Azam will be seen playing. Babur will be part of Sydney Sixers this season.

This year, more than 600 players including Kaul in the BBL draft have registered their names. Kaul is the only Indian player to register in the draft to be held on Thursday.
