He expressed concern that instead of learning lessons from the experience of 2023, the government has not taken any clear, timely and transparent action regarding OBC reservation in Panchayat elections. Nagina MP demanded that OBC reservation should be ensured in the upcoming Panchayat elections and it should be completed in a time bound manner by learning from the previous elections. Under no circumstances should a situation be allowed to create panchayat elections without OBC reservation. He said that this is not a special favor but a demand for the rights granted by the Constitution.
