Recently, the Panchayati Raj Department has completed the reorganization of Gram Panchayats, under which 512 gram panchayats have been reduced, now elections will be held in a total of 57,694 gram panchayats. In the new delimitation, the maximum number of gram panchayats in three districts of the state have been reduced, which are Chitrakoot, Azamgarh and Deoria.
