Today (June 8) is a very important day for the youth preparing for government jobs in Uttar Pradesh. The real test of lakhs of youth who dream of serving in the police department and wearing khaki uniform is starting from today. Actually, from today i.e. from 8th June, the constable recruitment examination of Uttar Pradesh Police is starting.

About 29 lakh youth from the entire state and other places are going to try their luck in this grand examination. In such a situation, the state government and police administration have finalized their preparations and strategies. This examination, to be held on three consecutive days i.e. 8, 9 and 10 June, has been divided into two different shifts.

Exam time and important rules

Every candidate leaving home to take the examination will have to strictly follow certain rules related to the examination. The most important thing is that every student must carry with him a valid and original identity card (like Aadhar Card, Voter ID Card). Also, it is mandatory to keep a pen. Entry will not be allowed without identity card and pen.

Take special care of timing

First Shift (Morning Shift): Students whose examination is scheduled in the first shift must reach the examination center between 8:00 am to 9:30 am. Entry will be completely closed after 9:30 pm.

Second Shift (Afternoon Shift): The second shift examination will start from 3 pm and will continue till 5 pm. It is very important for the candidates of this shift to reach their allotted examination center between 1 pm to 2:30 pm.

Strict arrangements to stop copying

To ensure that the examination is conducted in a very clean manner and there is no cheating or irregularities of any kind, the police has implemented a three-tier security system. The administration has made full use of technology to maintain transparency.

• A keen eye from CCTV: More than 30 thousand CCTV cameras have been installed at every nook and corner to record every activity of the examination. All these cameras have been connected to the control room, where the officers sitting are monitoring the entire examination live.
• Biometric checking facility: Biometric verification is being done at every center to ensure that no other person (fake candidate) can take the exam in place of someone else. Entry into the hall will be given only after it is found completely correct.
• Constant Patrolling: The entire security system is divided into different sectors. A large number of security personnel are deployed at every center and all the senior officers are continuously patrolling and keeping an eye on the situation.

Special trains running to make travel easier

When lakhs of youth travel together, trains and buses become very crowded. North Eastern Railway has taken great steps to make the journey of the candidates easy and safe. Railways is running special trains between Lucknow and Gorakhpur from June 7 to June 10.

• Trains operating from Gorakhpur: Train number 05031 will leave from Gorakhpur at 7:00 pm and reach Lucknow at 12:55 pm. The second train (05005) will leave from Gorakhpur at 1:30 pm and reach Lucknow at 6:15 pm.
• Trains operating from Lucknow: Train number 05032 will leave from Lucknow at 6:15 pm and reach Gorakhpur at 11:55 pm. The second train (05006) will leave from Lucknow at 1:30 pm and reach Gorakhpur at 6:50 pm.

50% discount on bus fare

CM Yogi has given great relief to the candidates. Often students have to go to far-flung districts to appear for exams, which puts a lot of financial burden on them. To reduce this, the CM has directed that all the candidates going to appear for the examination will be given 50 percent discount in the fare of government buses. While traveling in the bus, the candidate will have to show only his admit card.

This time a decision has been taken regarding the Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment Examination, which has brought a smile of relief on the faces of lakhs of candidates. Every year during major examinations, many types of complaints come to the fore regarding security checks. At some places women are asked to remove the mangalsutra and at other places they are asked to remove the Kalava tied on their hands. In such situations, many candidates come under mental pressure even before the commencement of the examination.

But this time the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has made it clear that religious faith will be respected at the examination centres. Candidates will not be forced to cut the kalava tied on their hand or remove the mangalsutra. Big relief before exams

Many candidates going to appear for the examination are often worried that they might have to remove their religious symbols during the security check. Many times such pictures and videos have been appearing on social media in which students had to face uncomfortable situations at the examination centres.

Keeping this in view, the Recruitment Board has already made it clear this time that there will be no ban on Kalava, Mangalsutra or other common religious symbols. They will not be asked to remove them even during the investigation process. The Board believes that along with maintaining security arrangements, it is also important to respect the sentiments of the candidates.

But strict action will be taken against those who copy.

While on one hand relief has been given regarding religious symbols, on the other hand this time difficulties are going to increase for those who copy. The Recruitment Board has clearly indicated that there will be no compromise with the fairness of the examination.

In recent years, many cases of cheating using technology have come to light. For this reason, this time special instructions have been given to the security agencies to keep a close watch on smart gadgets. Especially smart glasses, electronic pens, micro devices and other digital devices will be thoroughly examined.

The board says that immediate action will be taken if any suspicious electronic item is found in the examination centre. Therefore, candidates have been advised to reach the examination center with only the necessary documents.

Rules will apply to employees also

This time, strict rules have been imposed not only on the candidates but also on the employees and teachers engaged in examination duty. As per the instructions of the Recruitment Board, the employees doing duty inside the examination center will not be able to take their mobile phones with them. The purpose of this decision is to prevent any kind of information leakage or inappropriate activity during the examination. Officials believe that only when there will be uniform rules for everyone, the examination will become completely transparent.

Examination will be conducted under CCTV surveillance

To strengthen the security arrangements during the recruitment examination, all the examination centers will be monitored by CCTV cameras. Activities will be monitored from the control room so that any disturbance can be detected immediately. Apart from this, local administration, police department and other agencies will also remain under constant surveillance. Additional police force will be deployed around the examination centers so that law and order is maintained.
