Today (June 8) is a very important day for the youth preparing for government jobs in Uttar Pradesh. The real test of lakhs of youth who dream of serving in the police department and wearing khaki uniform is starting from today. Actually, from today i.e. from 8th June, the constable recruitment examination of Uttar Pradesh Police is starting.
About 29 lakh youth from the entire state and other places are going to try their luck in this grand examination. In such a situation, the state government and police administration have finalized their preparations and strategies. This examination, to be held on three consecutive days i.e. 8, 9 and 10 June, has been divided into two different shifts.
Exam time and important rules
Every candidate leaving home to take the examination will have to strictly follow certain rules related to the examination. The most important thing is that every student must carry with him a valid and original identity card (like Aadhar Card, Voter ID Card). Also, it is mandatory to keep a pen. Entry will not be allowed without identity card and pen.
Take special care of timing
First Shift (Morning Shift): Students whose examination is scheduled in the first shift must reach the examination center between 8:00 am to 9:30 am. Entry will be completely closed after 9:30 pm.
Second Shift (Afternoon Shift): The second shift examination will start from 3 pm and will continue till 5 pm. It is very important for the candidates of this shift to reach their allotted examination center between 1 pm to 2:30 pm.
Strict arrangements to stop copying
To ensure that the examination is conducted in a very clean manner and there is no cheating or irregularities of any kind, the police has implemented a three-tier security system. The administration has made full use of technology to maintain transparency.
- A keen eye from CCTV: More than 30 thousand CCTV cameras have been installed at every nook and corner to record every activity of the examination. All these cameras have been connected to the control room, where the officers sitting are monitoring the entire examination live.
- Biometric checking facility: Biometric verification is being done at every center to ensure that no other person (fake candidate) can take the exam in place of someone else. Entry into the hall will be given only after it is found completely correct.
- Constant Patrolling: The entire security system is divided into different sectors. A large number of security personnel are deployed at every center and all the senior officers are continuously patrolling and keeping an eye on the situation.
Special trains running to make travel easier
When lakhs of youth travel together, trains and buses become very crowded. North Eastern Railway has taken great steps to make the journey of the candidates easy and safe. Railways is running special trains between Lucknow and Gorakhpur from June 7 to June 10.
- Trains operating from Gorakhpur: Train number 05031 will leave from Gorakhpur at 7:00 pm and reach Lucknow at 12:55 pm. The second train (05005) will leave from Gorakhpur at 1:30 pm and reach Lucknow at 6:15 pm.
- Trains operating from Lucknow: Train number 05032 will leave from Lucknow at 6:15 pm and reach Gorakhpur at 11:55 pm. The second train (05006) will leave from Lucknow at 1:30 pm and reach Gorakhpur at 6:50 pm.
50% discount on bus fare
CM Yogi has given great relief to the candidates. Often students have to go to far-flung districts to appear for exams, which puts a lot of financial burden on them. To reduce this, the CM has directed that all the candidates going to appear for the examination will be given 50 percent discount in the fare of government buses. While traveling in the bus, the candidate will have to show only his admit card.
