Iran US Conflict: Russia has given a strong reaction to America’s recent military action on Iran. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that America has violated the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Tehran and Washington. They allege that the American attacks have damaged not only Iran but also the civilian targets of the Persian Gulf region, which has posed a threat to the stability of the entire region.

Russia accused America of breaking the agreement

During a joint press conference with the Foreign Minister of Chad in Moscow, Sergei Lavrov said that America’s new military action is against the spirit of the agreement, through which an attempt was made to reduce tension between the two countries. He said that military action cannot be the solution to any dispute.

‘Civilian targets also get damaged due to attacks’

Lavrov claimed that civilian infrastructure has been damaged in Iran as well as in the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member countries. He warned that such attacks would increase instability in the region and weaken efforts to restore peace.

Questions raised on Trump’s statement also

The Russian Foreign Minister said that it is difficult to have confidence in any future agreement with America. Citing the talks held between President Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump in Alaska, he said that even earlier many agreements were not fully followed.

Also read: India issues non-bailable warrant against Lashkar leader terrorist Hafiz Saeed, now case will be heard in this court

Iran also expressed protest

Iran’s Foreign Ministry has described the American attacks as a violation of the United Nations Charter. Tehran says that America has weakened efforts towards ceasefire and reducing tension. Iran alleged that transportation infrastructure, cargo ships and other civilian facilities were also targeted in the attacks.

Tension increased on Strait of Hormuz

Citing security reasons, Iran has announced to temporarily stop the movement of ships in the Strait of Hormuz. At the same time, US President Donald Trump claimed that America has control over this waterway and it has been reopened. Tension remains constant in the region between the claims of both the countries.

US-Iran Tensions: Amidst the ongoing tension between America and Iran, the US Army has taken a major military step and fired a Hellfire missile at a commercial cargo ship. The US military claims that the ship ignored repeated warnings and tried to proceed towards an Iranian port despite the US naval blockade.

A ceasefire is in force between America and Iran, but tension still remains in the region. Meanwhile, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has warned that if diplomatic efforts fail, the US military is fully prepared to take military action against Iran again.

Engine room was targeted

According to US Central Command (CENTCOM), the Gambian-flagged cargo ship “Lian Star” was en route to an Iranian port via the Gulf of Oman. The US military claimed that the ship was traveling in international waters, but was in violation of the US blockade.

Centcom said that warnings were given more than 20 times overnight to stop the ship, but the ship did not respond. After this, American forces targeted the engine room of the ship by firing Hellfire missiles, due to which the speed of the ship stopped.

The ship is no longer heading towards Iran

After the attack, Centcom said that the ship is no longer heading towards Iran. However, the US Army did not give any detailed information about the current status of the ship. According to the report of the Associated Press, an American official associated with this operation said that the ship is currently in a state of drift in the Gulf of Oman and American soldiers have not taken any action after boarding it.

‘Return to your country immediately’, Amit Shah’s warning to the intruder, Chicken Neck land handed over to BSF

Sixth ship stopped under US blockade

This action has been taken under the US naval blockade started in April. According to the US military, so far six ships have been stopped while trying to break the blockade. According to the report, one of these ships was later allowed to proceed, while the route of more than 116 ships was changed and sent in other directions. On Friday, Centcom said that at least 115 ships have been diverted since the blockade came into force.

Controversy increases over Strait of Hormuz

The US imposed the blockade after Iran effectively blocked traffic through the Strait of Hormuz after the current conflict began. The conflict began following attacks by the US and Israel on February 28, following which there has been continued tension over maritime traffic and security in the region.

Uncertainty over the future of the ceasefire

Amidst this military action, there is uncertainty regarding the ceasefire implemented between America and Iran. The ceasefire has largely been in place since the beginning of April, but talks are now underway between the two countries for a possible extension of 60 days. There are plans to continue talks on Iran’s disputed nuclear program during this period.

Trump held a high level meeting

According to the report, US President Donald Trump held a meeting with his senior advisors in the Situation Room of the White House on Friday. However, it has not yet been decided whether any agreement will be approved to extend the ceasefire and restore maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran has clarified that no final agreement has been reached yet. US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said on Saturday that if diplomatic efforts fail, the US military is fully prepared to launch military operations against Iran again.

US Iran Conflict: The US Army has once again carried out major military attacks in Iran. According to US officials, the overnight attacks targeted military targets that the US military considered a threat to its troops and commercial ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

According to news agency Reuters, an American official, on condition of anonymity, said that the US military also shot down several Iranian drones, which were considered a potential threat.

Tension increased in the Strait of Hormuz

It has been reported that American action was mainly taken regarding activities around the Strait of Hormuz. This sea route is considered one of the most important oil trade routes in the world. The US says that Iranian military activities and drone movements were posing a threat to commercial ships passing through there and to American forces.

The war has been going on for three months

The ongoing tension between America and Iran has been increasing continuously for the last three months. This war started after the attacks by America and Israel on 28 February. Thousands of people have died in this conflict so far, while the global energy market has also been badly affected. Due to the war, there has been a sharp increase in the prices of oil and energy at the international level.

New action taken amid peace talks

These new attacks have taken place at a time when talks are going on between the two sides to end the war. Meanwhile, it was claimed in Iranian state media that under a possible peace agreement, Iran and Oman could jointly handle shipping operations in the Strait of Hormuz. However, US President Donald Trump rejected this claim. Trump clearly said that the Strait of Hormuz will remain open and international traffic will continue there.

America has attacked before also

The US also took action against Iran on Monday, which it described as a “defensive attack”. However, Iran had termed it as a violation of the fragile ceasefire between the two countries. According to the Central Command of the US Army, in that action those boats and missile launch sites were targeted which were posing a threat to the American forces.

US Military Action: US President Donald Trump returned from China tour on Friday. With his return, he faces a big decision regarding Iran. America can now take military action again amid the ongoing tension over Iran’s nuclear program and the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the report of American newspaper The New York Times, Trump’s senior advisors have prepared a new plan for possible military action. The report says that if President Trump feels that diplomacy has completely failed, then America may soon start military attacks on Iran again. It was told that Pentagon officials are preparing to restart “Operation Epic Fury”. This operation was stopped after Trump declared a ceasefire last month. Now it can be started again with a new name.

Trump rejects Iran’s peace proposal

However, till now President Trump has not taken the final decision. Speaking to reporters on Air Force One while returning from Beijing, he rejected Iran’s latest peace proposal. Trump said, “I look at the proposal and if I don’t like the first line, I throw it out.”

Also read: Trump’s delegation threw Chinese gifts in the dustbin, security protocol of Air Force One attracted attention

Iran issue also raised in meeting with Xi Jinping

Trump also confirmed that the issue of Iran came up in his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping. However, he said that he did not make any request to China to put pressure on Iran.

Strait of Hormuz is important for China

According to the report, China is a major strategic partner of Iran and is heavily dependent on oil and gas supplies through the Strait of Hormuz. For this reason, many countries are trying to reach an agreement to end this crisis and reopen this sea route to Iran.

America wants diplomatic victory

The report says that officials of many countries are trying to make such an agreement so that Trump can present it as a diplomatic victory. Its purpose is also to assure American voters that America will not get trapped in a long and costly war. However, the situation still remains tense. US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said in a statement to Congress this week, “We have a plan ready to escalate the conflict if needed.” He also said that America has a plan to reduce military deployment and gradually withdraw more than 50 thousand American soldiers present in the Middle East. According to the report, American and Israeli officials are preparing for possible new attacks on Iran next week. Two Middle East officials have described it as the “biggest preparation” since the ceasefire came into effect.

Trump Statement: Amidst the increasing tension between America and Iran, US President Donald Trump has made a big claim. He said that the US Army has caused so much damage to Iran in just one month that its navy has been destroyed and its air force has been completely destroyed. According to Trump, America no longer needs to depend on the Middle East.

Trump told that the US Army had started a major military operation against Iran a month ago. He said that in these four weeks, the American Army has achieved a very swift, precise and tremendous victory, the like of which was never seen before.

Iran’s military power is weak

Trump said, “Tonight, Iran’s navy has been destroyed, their air force has been destroyed and their leaders have now been killed. The command and control of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is being completely destroyed. Their missile and drone launching capabilities have been greatly reduced and their weapons factories and rocket launchers are being destroyed, now there are very few of them left. Never in the history of war has any enemy suffered such obvious and devastating losses.”

Mention of action on Venezuela also

Trump said, “Before discussing the current situation, I want to thank our troops who did a wonderful job of taking over Venezuela in a matter of minutes. The attack was quick, deadly and powerful, and the whole world praised it. After strengthening the military in my first term, we now have the strongest military in the world.”

Trump said that America is now completely self-reliant in the Middle East. “Now we are there to help, but we don’t need to be there. We don’t want their oil or anything, but we are there to help our allies,” he said.

Clear message against Iran
Trump said, “In this campaign that began 32 days ago, we are fully engaged to stop Iran and stop its nuclear weapons efforts. This fundamentalist regime has been shouting ‘Death to America’ for 47 years. We are going to finish this work very fast. Iran’s navy is destroyed, its air force is destroyed and we are close to achieving our strategic objectives.”

Sarcasm on Iran and nuclear deal
Trump said, “If I had not withdrawn from the Iran nuclear deal, Israel and the Middle East would not exist today. This deal would have given Iran the way to build a major nuclear weapon many years ago. We stopped it.” He said that the killing of Qassem Soleimani and ending the earlier agreement was a step that no other president would have dared to take.

Thanks to our allies in the Middle East
Trump thanked Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Kuwait and Bahrain. “We will ensure that they are not harmed in any way,” he said.

Concern over fuel prices and the option of US oil
Trump admitted that due to Iran’s attacks, petrol prices in America have increased by 25 percent. He said, “This is only temporary. For those countries that are not getting fuel, I suggest that they first buy American oil and then protect the Strait of Hormuz.”

Trump said, “We will attack Iran very powerfully in the next 2-3 weeks. Iran has now been badly damaged. We are on the way to quickly accomplish America’s military objectives. We will complete the mission while honoring the lives of our soldiers who sacrificed their lives.”

Public opinion in America is divided regarding America’s military action against Iran. Many new surveys show that most Americans are not in support of this action and they fear that it may make America more unsafe than before. Many surveys conducted after the start of the war with Iran have revealed that people in America have different opinions on the basis of political parties. While Republican voters largely appear to be standing with President Donald Trump’s decision, Democrats and independent voters are more concerned about this military action.

According to a new survey by Quinnipiac University, about 53 percent of registered voters oppose US military action against Iran. About 40 percent people support it, while about 10 percent people could not give a clear opinion on this issue. Similarly, in the Ipsos survey, more people were seen opposing these attacks than supporting them. Some other surveys, such as text message surveys by the Washington Post and CNN, also showed the same trend that more Americans are not in favor of these attacks. However, a Fox News poll found opinions were almost evenly divided, with half of voters supporting the action and half opposing it.

What was the result of which survey?

Many surveys also revealed that many Americans believe that the government did not explain the reason for the attack clearly. Fifty-five percent of voters in the Quinnipiac survey said they did not think Iran posed any immediate military threat to the United States. On the other hand, in the Fox News survey, about 60 percent of voters believed that Iran is a real threat to America’s national security. The fear of increasing oil and petrol prices due to war is also troubling people. In the Quinnipiac survey, a large number of voters said that they are worried that due to this war, the prices of petrol and gas in America may increase. Only about a quarter of people said they were not too worried about it.

Result of the survey conducted between 6 to 9 March

According to a survey conducted by Ipsos between March 6 and 9, about two-thirds of Americans think that petrol prices may increase further in the next one year. Interestingly, many Republican voters also believe that war could cause prices to rise. As the war is spreading in the Middle East, concerns about America’s security are also increasing. In the Quinnipiac and Fox News survey, almost half of the voters said that military action against Iran could make America less safe, while about 30 percent believed that it would make the country more secure. In a CNN survey, about 60 percent of Americans said that they have little or no confidence in President Trump to take military decisions against Iran.

Similarly, in a survey conducted by NORC at the University of Chicago, 56 percent people said that they have very little confidence in Trump’s decisions regarding military action abroad. Most Americans are also worried that the war could get bigger. According to a Quinnipiac survey, nearly three-quarters of voters are against sending American ground troops to Iran. Only about 20 percent people support this move. Even among Republican voters, 52 percent are against sending troops, while 37 percent are in favor of it.

News of death of American soldiers

This concern has increased further after the news of the death of 6 American soldiers came recently. The American government has also admitted that there could be a danger to the lives of American soldiers in this conflict. US Defense Minister Pete Hegseth said that it would not be right to expect the government to tell in advance how far it will go in this war. Overall, the new survey is indicating that if the war with Iran continues for a long time and the economic impact increases, then this issue can become a big political question for American politics and President Trump.

There was a huge upheaval in Venezuelan politics when President Nicolas Maduro was taken into custody in a military action taken by the US. The audio and reports that emerged after this action have made the entire incident even more mysterious. Now the statement of the then Vice President of Venezuela Delsey Rodriguez has given a new direction to this entire matter.

In a leaked recording of a secret meeting held about a week after President Maduro’s arrest, Delcy Rodriguez is seen claiming that US soldiers had openly threatened her and top leaders. According to the recording, they were told that if they did not respond within 15 minutes, they would also be killed. Delsey Rodriguez said in the meeting that the US had also claimed that President Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores had been assassinated. After this information there was chaos at the top level of the government.

We were also ready to face the same fate

Delsey Rodriguez said that at that time she and Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello were prepared for any outcome. He also admitted that threats and pressure continued, but the government decided to handle the situation with strategic patience. He said that the initial objective was to maintain peace in the country, bring back the hostages safely and save the regime from complete collapse.

Already preparing for transfer of power after Maduro?

According to the report of British newspaper The Guardian, secret talks were going on between America and Delsey Rodriguez since November 2025. It was reported that Delsey had indicated to Washington that it was no longer possible for Maduro to remain in power and that she could handle the transition of power in a controlled manner, so that the country does not plunge into anarchy. According to sources, Delcy Rodriguez had told the US that Maduro would have to step down and he was ready to handle the subsequent situation.

Rumors and truth

On the day of Maduro’s arrest, it was rumored that Delcy Rodriguez had fled to Moscow, Russia, but according to reports she was on Venezuela’s Margarita Island and monitoring the situation. On January 5, she returned to Caracas and was formally sworn in as acting president. His brother Jorge Rodriguez also assumed an important role as Speaker of Parliament, which is believed to be part of a pre-planned plan.

Trump also gave hints

US President Donald Trump later also indicated confirmation of this backchannel conversation. Speaking to the New York Post, Trump said that he has spoken to America’s Delsey Rodriguez several times and she understands the situation very well.

Venezuela Crisis: There is a stir in American politics regarding American military action in Venezuela. While Republican leaders are saying that President Donald Trump’s decision is correct, the Democratic Party says that this step has been taken without any clear plan and without asking Parliament.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and other senior government officials informed Congress leaders late Monday night about the military action taken in Venezuela. This meeting took place at a time when questions are being raised that Trump did not consult lawmakers and it is not clear how America will handle Venezuela in the future.

Republican leaders supported

According to APTN report, in this closed meeting held in the Capitol, most of the Republican leaders supported Trump’s decision. He justified the action of removing Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro from power. Many Democrat MPs came out after the meeting with more questions.

Meanwhile, the Trump administration has deployed US Navy ships near the Venezuelan coast. Also, American companies are being asked to reinvest in Venezuela’s weak oil industry. A proposal to ban the use of US military in Venezuela without the approval of Congress will be presented for voting in the US Senate this week.

Chuck Schumer raised questions

Earlier on Monday, Senate Democratic Party leader Chuck Schumer said that no one regrets what happened to Nicolas Maduro. But he accused the Trump government of not having any clear plan as to what to do next regarding Venezuela.

Chuck Schumer said, ‘All day Sunday, Secretary of State Marco Rubio was busy managing Trump’s mistakes. Even after this, the President again said that America will run Venezuela for some time. They don’t have any plan. They are just taking steps in the chaos.

Venezuela’s politics and America’s military action have shaken the world. President Nicolas Maduro, arrested by American soldiers, is now kept in America’s most controversial and scary prison in New York. Maduro’s stay in this prison, infamous for violence, overcrowding, darkness and fear, is raising many questions whether it is just imprisonment or is it also a big message in world politics? Let us find out why it is called America’s most scary and infamous prison.

Maduro’s arrest and bringing to America

President Nicolas Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores have been arrested in the US military action on Venezuela. Maduro was handcuffed when he got off the plane at Stewart Air National Guard Base in New York on Saturday. His first video surfaced, in which he was seen smilingly walking into the facility with two DEA officers. Maduro walked into the hall saying ‘Good night, Happy New Year’ to his colleagues.

American officials had detained Maduro from the military base in Caracas. After reaching New York, his next destination is the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC).

Why is the Metropolitan Detention Center infamous?

The MDC Metropolitan Detention Center is a federal prison in New York, which was built in the 1990s to reduce overcrowding. This prison is infamous for its filth, lack of staff, violence against prisoners and long power cuts. Many high-profile prisoners have lived here, like singer R. Kelly, Martin Scherli, Jeffrey Epstein’s associate socialite Ghislaine Maxwell and drug cartel leader Ismael ‘El Mayo’ Zambada Garcia, among others.

violence and poor conditions

Violence among prisoners is common in the MDC. Reports suggest that a prisoner was stabbed to death here in June 2024. A month later, another prisoner died in a fight. Earlier in 2019, prisoners were trapped in severe cold and darkness due to power cut for a week. After this, the Justice Department investigated and gave a settlement of 10 million dollars to 1600 affected prisoners.

Such conditions of prisoners have made MDC one of the scariest prisons in the world. This prison can prove to be a mental and physical challenge for Maduro.

Maduro’s legal status

Maduro will be presented in federal court in New York, where charges of drug trafficking and financial crimes could be brought against him. According to American media, this step is part of America’s strict policy and an effort to send a message at the international level.
