Amidst the controversy related to Ayodhya Ram Mandir Trust, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has expressed its views regarding the decisions taken in the trust meeting and the investigation. VHP national joint general secretary Surendra Jain said that he was not present in the meeting, but the members present in the meeting gave him complete information. According to Surendra Jain, all decisions were taken unanimously in the meeting. He told that till the regular appointment is made, Mr. Krishnamohan will take charge as caretaker.

Every item is safe: VHP

On questions raised regarding donations and offerings in Ram temple, Surendra Jain said that in the meeting it was found that every item is safe. He claims that all the donated silver items were melted as per government rules and kept safe in the government mint. He said that there is a complete record of how much stuff was there.

He said that as soon as this matter came to the notice of Trust General Secretary Champat Rai, he himself talked about forming a Special Investigation Team (SIT). According to Surendra Jain, the resignations of Champat Rai and Anil Mishra were accepted on moral grounds so that there would be no doubt on the investigation. Surendra Jain appealed to the people that if anyone has facts or evidence related to this case, then they should provide them to the investigating agencies, so that a fair investigation can be conducted. He also said that there should be no attempt to create division in the society regarding this issue.

All allegations against Champat Rai are false: VHP

He said that in the meeting it has also been decided to form a search committee, which will take forward the process of selecting the person who will hold the responsibility on a regular basis. Responding to the allegations against Champat Rai, Surendra Jain said that the things being said about his nephew are wrong. He also said that Champat Rai does not have any house of his own and false allegations are being made against him again and again.

He also gave clarification on the allegations being made against Mahipal Singh. He says that Mahipal Singh was never in charge of accounts, although his name is often taken in this matter. He said that all the allegations are under investigation and the truth will come out after the investigation is completed.

No irregularities revealed: VHP

Appealing to the media, Surendra Jain said that there should not be a media trial before the investigation is completed and stories should not be run without facts. He said that the donations received to Ram Temple are regularly audited and according to the Trust, no irregularities have been revealed in the audit. At present the investigation of this entire matter is going on. Only after the investigation is completed will it be clear how much truth is there in the allegations made and whether there has been any irregularity at any level.

Bajrang Lal Bagra said that any kind of attack on the symbols of Hindu culture, Bindi, Kalava, Sindoor, Mangalsutra or Tilak, cannot be tolerated. He alleged that while these Hindu symbols are banned, hijab is allowed. This clearly shows that some institutions are adopting anti-Hindu attitude.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Indraprastha state minister Surendra Kumar Gupta has written a letter to the Chairman and Managing Director of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) demanding to change the name of the proposed ‘Nabi Karim’ metro station in the Indraprastha-Inderlok corridor (Magenta Line Extension) of Phase-4 to ‘Ramnagar’.

In the letter, Surendra Gupta wrote that Delhi Metro is no longer just a means of transportation, it has also become a major part of the historical and cultural identity of the capital. Therefore, while deciding the name of the station, old revenue records, municipal corporation documents and the popular identity of the area that has been going on for decades should be the basis.

‘History will be ignored if the name Nabi Kareem is finalized’

He told that this area has been known as ‘Ramnagar’ for a long time. This name is recorded in everything from revenue records to local addresses, electricity-water bills and municipal corporation records. If the name ‘Nabi Kareem’ is finalized then it will not only ignore the local history but will also hurt the sentiments of the people and may also create confusion among the travelers about the area.

Surendra Gupta made another point that recently in the matter of changing the Hindi name of Supreme Court Metro Station to ‘Supreme Court’, DMRC had told the High Court that it would cost Rs 40-45 lakh. If local facts and sentiments are taken into account at the very beginning of naming, then there will be no need for such expensive changes in the future and wastage of public money will stop.

Yunus government summoned Indian High Commissioner

Demand for justice for Dipu in Bangladesh too

The protesters said that Deepu was innocent. He was falsely accused of blasphemy. After this, the fundamentalists beat him badly, hanged him from a tree and then burnt him alive.

The protesters said that the situation in Bangladesh is continuously worsening. He claims that since January this year, more than 50 non-Muslims have been murdered and false cases of blasphemy have been registered against many people.

Dipu was murdered due to dispute in the factory

According to the Dhaka Tribune report, 27-year-old Dipuchandra Das was a floor manager in a garment factory named Pioneer Knitwears (BD) Limited. He had recently appeared for the promotion examination for the post of supervisor. Senior manager of the factory, Saqib Mahmood, said that at around 5 pm, some workers started protesting inside the factory, accusing Deepu of hurting religious sentiments. Deepu’s brother Apu Chandra Das told that Deepu was already having disputes with many colleagues. These disputes were about working conditions, targets and benefits for workers.

On 18 December 2025, the dispute escalated and the floor in-charge of the factory forced Dipu to resign. After this he was taken out of the factory and handed over to the mob. Apu got a call from Deepu’s friend Himel that Deepu was being taken to the police station, but after some time it was learned that he had died. When Apu reached the spot, the dead body was found burnt.
