There are constant conversations between the selection committee, cricket committee, players and coaching staff. When Devjit Saikia was asked about Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma playing in the 2027 ODI World Cup, he replied, “I don’t think such things should be disclosed to the media or the public. These are strategic decisions and should be discussed within the boardroom.” One thing became clear from this that BCCI is not going to get any update on the playing of Rohit and Virat.
