Well-known actress of Indian cinema, Upasana Singh is often in the news for some reason or the other. Now the actress is once again making headlines for her latest interview. Upasana Singh recently narrated a funny incident related to Salman Khan in an interview. He revealed that many years ago, on Kapil Sharma’s show ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’, he had asked Bhaijaan ‘Kaun hai yeh aadmi’, which later became his famous line.
Became famous as Kapil’s aunt
Upasana Singh used to play the role of Kapil’s aunt in the show ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’. She was seen flirting with every guest who came to the show. The audience liked his style very much. Recently, in a conversation with Galata India, Upasana Singh refreshed the memories of the show ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’. He narrated an interesting anecdote related to Salman Khan.
Know what was the funny story?
Upasana said, ‘I have worked a lot with Salman Khan. We worked in films like ‘God Tussi Great Ho’ and ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’. We have also worked together many times on Kapil Sharma’s show. The line ‘Who is this man?’ It was made because Salman and I were shooting together.

Who is this man?
He further said, ‘At that time we never knew what the star sitting in front of us would say. We used to prepare our parts like a play and knew what we had to say, but we never knew what kind of conversation we would have with the guest star. So when Salman Khan came to promote his film ‘Jai Ho’ in the year 2014, he said something to me and suddenly it came out of my mouth, ‘Who is this man?’

Upasana further says, ‘At that time there were 14 cameras on the set and there was silence all around. Everyone thought that Salman would feel bad, he would leave the set and the show would remain incomplete. However, Salman started laughing loudly at my line. Salman ji started laughing so much that he was about to fall off the sofa. He kept laughing continuously for about 4-5 minutes. After that, every star who came on the show heard the same dialogue from my mouth, ‘Who is this man?’
Upasana Singh was last seen in these films
Talking about the work front, Upasana was last seen in the family comedy drama film ‘Tomchi’. This film, released in 2025, was directed by Rajesh Gupta. Actors like Yashpal Sharma, Rati Agnihotri, Madhu Shah and Manoj Joshi were seen in it.
