‘This love is a declaration…’, PM Modi made a big prediction as soon as he reached Assam

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing his first public meeting in Gogamukh after the announcement of elections in Assam, expressed confidence of victory. He said that this immense love of the public is an open declaration that this time a hat-trick is certain. He further said that with the blessings of the public, he has got the opportunity to score a hat-trick of the post of Prime Minister and similarly the hat-trick of the government is certain in the state too.

Emphasis on connectivity with the region
The Prime Minister said that this area has special importance for him. He mentioned that Malini Than is not far from here, which is considered a holy city associated with Lord Shri Krishna. According to the programme, after PM Modi addresses the rally in Dhemaji’s Gogamukh, he is scheduled to address a public meeting in Vishwanath district at 1 pm.

Achievements of Housing Scheme
PM Modi said that till now, permanent houses have been provided to more than 22 lakh poor families. He said that it has been promised in the BJP’s resolution letter that the families who have not yet received the benefit of the Chief Minister Housing Scheme will also be given houses. Targeting Congress, PM Modi said that the party’s third defeat is certain. The ‘Prince’ of Congress will score a century of defeat. He praised the 10 years of good governance under the leadership of Sarbananda Sonowal and Himanta Vishwa Sharma.

He announced that in the coming time, there is a guarantee of providing permanent houses to 15 lakh more poor families. Along with this, he also described the scheme of providing free education to children of poor families as commendable.

Addressing the women, he said that under the ‘Lakhpati Didi’ campaign, more than three lakh women of Assam have become ‘Lakhpati Baidev’. He told that now the aim of NDA government is to make 40 lakh women ‘Lakhpati Baidev’. Apart from this, the ‘Orunodoi’ scheme will be expanded and additional benefits will also be added to it.
