Gold Mining Project Andhra Pradesh: Amidst the rising prices of gold in the country, a mine in a state of India is preparing to produce gold. The state government has also changed the name of Jonnagiri village to ‘Swarangiri’. However, this will only be a temporary or symbolic name.

A project like KGF brought new hope

According to the government, this project has brought new hope like Kolar Gold Fields (KGF), which was once the most famous gold mine of the country. About 400 kg of gold is expected to be produced from the mine in the first year. From the second year the production can increase to 900 kg and going forward a target has been set to produce 2 tonnes of gold every year.

How will the project provide employment?

This project is not only important for gold excavation, but it is also likely to provide employment to about 700 people. Along with this, the state government will also get huge economic benefit from this project. This project is being considered a big step not only in the mining sector but also in terms of local development, employment and economic strength.
