US President Donald Trump has issued a major threat to Iran by sharing a post on the social media platform Truth Social on Sunday (April 19). Accusing Iran of violating the ceasefire, Trump said, ‘Iran opened fire in the Strait of Hormuz yesterday Saturday (April 18). This is a complete violation of the ceasefire agreement between us! Many of these bullets were fired towards a French ship and a UK freighter. It wasn’t right, was it?’
He said, ‘My representatives are going to Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, they will reach there for talks by tomorrow Monday (April 20, 2026) evening.’

Iran is suffering losses due to the blockade of Hormuz – Trump
President Donald Trump said, ‘Iran recently announced that it is closing the Strait of Hormuz, which is very strange, because our blockade has already closed it. They are helping us without knowing anything and they are suffering the biggest loss of 500 million dollars every day due to this closed road! America is not suffering any loss from this.
He said, ‘Actually many ships are currently heading towards Texas, Louisiana and Alaska of America, where they will load. All this is happening because of IRGC, which always tries to appear powerful.

Trump said, ‘We are presenting a very fair and fair agreement and I hope they will accept it, because if they don’t do it then America will destroy every single power plant and bridge in Iran. There will be no more leniency!
