If we look at the figures after 51 matches, till now Kagiso Rabada has taken the most wickets in the powerplay in IPL 2026. This South African fast bowler, playing for Gujarat Titans, has taken 11 wickets in the powerplay.
Talking about Rabada’s performance this season, he has taken a total of 16 wickets in 10 matches. He has given 360 runs in 39 overs.

Who is second and third?
Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Joffra Archer are at second and third place, both have taken 9-9 wickets in the powerplay. Bhuvi, playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore, is currently the joint highest wicket taker in the league. He and Anshul Kamboj have taken 17 wickets each, but Bhuvi has the purple cap due to better economy.
