Top Mango Importers from India: Mango is the national fruit of India and is also considered the king of fruits. There are more than 1,500 varieties of mango around the world, which are cultivated in more than 140 countries. Japan stopped import of mango
Last month, Japan had banned the import of mangoes from India. In fact, due to deficiencies in pest-control (pesticide processes) in treatment centers in India, Japan had even banned the import of mangoes from India.
This is the first time in the last 20 years that Japan has taken such a step. Japan had earlier banned Indian mangoes due to fruit flies and then allowed them to be imported again in 2006 only after India took strict steps.
Nepal also banned
After Japan, Nepal has also imposed restrictions on the import of mangoes because quarantine inspectors at the border had found excessive quantities of chemical pesticides in an imported consignment. However, despite this, there is no dearth of lovers of Indian mangoes in the world. Let us know which names are included among the countries that import the most mangoes from India?
