A major accident took place in Dwarka area of Delhi, where three children died due to drowning in the golf course pond. The fire department received information about the accident at 7:08 am on Thursday, April 30. After this, the fire department and police team reached the spot and started relief work.
As soon as the information was received, the SHO of Police Station Sector-23 Dwarka immediately reached the spot with his team. Besides, other agencies including fire brigade were also called to the spot. The three children were taken out of the pond by a relief and rescue operation, but by then they had died.

Children have not been identified yet
The age of the dead children is said to be between 8 to 10 years. From the spot, children’s clothes were found outside the pond, due to which it is suspected that they had entered the pond to take bath and became victims of the accident. At present the process of identifying the children is going on. No child has been reported missing yet. The police is investigating the entire matter. The police is trying to trace the parents of the children. These deceased children have not been matched with the reports of missing children received so far.
According to the information received by the police, the bodies of the three children have been sent for post-mortem. The forensic team is also present on the spot and is trying to find out the reason behind this accident. At present, some samples have been collected from the spot, the investigation of which is ongoing.
